I’m suprised how many bad opinions they have. We already tried some from other places but from here was so delicious. We had bbq and peanut butter chicken with noodles and it was amazing.
The worst thing I’ve ordered in a long time absolutely rip off and took ages to come these guys are scammers. The quarter duck was bones and completely dry clearly trying to mislead people. There’s another stall called four seasons which serves actual duck which I ended up doing. Don’t make the mistake to waste £18 like I did.
I ordered shredded duck with vermicelli noodles but the dish was very dry. Firecracker chicken with rice. Chicken was OK but rice had no flavour. I was ordered chicken soup which tasted like soya sauce flavoured water. Don't buy from there as you will be disappointed.
I’m quite surprised by the amount of negative reviews on here. I personally had a very pleasant experience and loved every bite of my meal! I ordered the firecracker chicken with udon noodles and rice (which was recommended to me by my friend) and I was not disappointed at all. The food was freshly prepared and served piping-hot and the portion was absolutely colossal; The meal was definitely excellent value for money, though I must admit I did struggle to finish the entire thing. I was informed that the chicken, beef and duck here are halal which is also a bonus. Overall, a great dining experience. This meal has to be one of my favourites that I’ve had at Bang Bang and I am certain that I’ll be returning.
So I ordered the spicy and sour soup with duck in it and it was way too sour to enjoy. I've had many sour soups in the past and they were mostly good at other places but here it was just way too sour to be edible for me so I left most of it. I should have looked at the reviews previously because this place does not have very good reviews overall.
Would give 0 star if I could. They served the stingiest potion imaginable, for example, £5 for a HALF of a pig's trotter (that means mainly bones). No place I've been has ever served a half of anything, you either should get a whole thing at least, or a few on a plate to share. They also didn't offer a refund or to increase the potion when I asked. Other food here also smelled unappealing, probably due to low quality or out of date frozen ingredients. Picture is of the pig's trotter they served us as it was 'fresh' from their kitchen and untouched. We had 2 other octopus skewers on the same plate but took them off, so I could bring this over to ask the restaurant if this was a mistake... It wasn't, they were just cheap.
Had Shanghai noodles with beef which was made of udon rather than flat noodles. Despite a big dish it was too sweet for our palette. We ordered the squid tentacles to give this a try. This was served on a skewer and came out dry. Would not recommend this dish.
Quick and friendly service. However, the braised pork was extremely dry and cold. The accompanying egg was also cold. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience in terms of the quality of food.
I ordered chicken fried rice with mushrooms and plain chow mien, and I must say, it's a gastronomical delight. Absolutely delicious. As there is no perfect 5 stars, I give Very Duck the highest rating I can give, 4 stars!
Tried the grilled onion pancake and taiwanese fried ribs. I love Asian onion pancakes! So crispy and yummy. Smells really good as well. These make great snacks but I thought they were a bit on the oily side.Taiwanese fried ribs are so yummy! The sticky sweet and chilli sauce is really yummy. And was not expecting so much!
