   This is truly the best vegetarian dish I have ever had — and I haven’t eaten meat in over twenty years. I was honestly blown away. The texture of the “BBQ steak” is incredibly satisfying, rich and tender, yet completely plant-based. The flavours are perfectly balanced: smoky, slightly sweet, beautifully seasoned, with fresh crunchy vegetables. Every bite felt like a little explosion of flavour. If you’re in London, Zen Buddha is an absolute must-try. Sending warm greetings from Croatia — this dish completely stole my heart!

   Gutted to be giving a 1 star review. We have often ordered, a lot! We went there the first time last week, and ate in for the "all you can eat". Lovely atmosphere, though the female worker didn't really seem to have a single clue on what she was doing. Barely came over, kept telling us our order even though we already confirmed it and kept missing parts. Food was lovely, but it came out slowly. Not sure if that's so they can cheese the '1hr 45 minute' eating time? There is also a 10% service charge for this. Anyway that isn't what the 1 star is for. Today, we ordered for pick up to take advantage of the 40% off. When my boyfriend walked in, the lady (who was the same lady who served us the week before) had no clue what his order was. Said there was no order under his name. He got an email, confirming the order was ready for pickup, and then she told him it would be an extra 15-20 minutes. He told me that there was a full bag on the side, that looked like ours. We drove around 15 minutes to pass the time and got back. They passed the food, he got into the car and I checked the food and everything was freezing cold. It was obvious that the food that was sat out, was ours. We aren't sure why the lady told him the food wasn't ready. It was clearly ready for it to be that cold! Unfortunately there were no parking spots and we were in the taxi bay, being honked at so we had to leave with the cold food. Now, at home, we are heating it up in the microwave. No one should get a takeaway that needs heating up at him because of how cold it was.

   We have been coming here since 2009, I craved for the black pepper vegan steak when I was pregnant with my son, now he is 13 and loves this place too; in fact it’s his Birthday tradition to have dinner at Zen Buddha. The variety of the food in the menu is mind blowing, food taste really good, the staff are friendly serves food with kindness and smile which itself bring so much welcoming vibe. I wish more and more people will love the food and the values they stand for. If I could rate more than 5 starts I would.

   Excellent food - lots of variety and interesting choices. I had spicy fried 'fish' and then a sweet and sour tofu. Really good and very reasonably priced for London. Staff were lovely - we were served by a young lady who was super friendly and helpful. The chef popped out of the kitchen at one point too, to check we were enjoying it and to talk us through the satay sauce (which is so good we had to ask for extra!).

   Great food with really tasty dishes. It’s really nice to see such wide variety of food. Unfortunately the service is not great and the server was not very friendly and didn’t smile at all. The amazing food makes up for the bad service.

   First time here and cant wait to return and eat our way through every dish! Amazing menu with Chinese, Asian, Thai and all the favourites They have vegan chicken, lamb, beef etc. Food is fresh and all dishes served hot. All Vegan Amazing service, waitress was friendly, helpful and patient Owner was very welcoming and came out to greet us Very reasonable prices Clean restaurant One of the best restaurants in London we have been to and the food was all fresh, nice and hot on arrival, lovely presentation and didnt charge extra for small extras like chilli's etc. Please note, they do not serve alcohol and parking can be hard (park in Sainsburys car park up the road) This is how a restaurant should be - thank you!

   I've been here a few times now and the food is quite good. The portions are very big which is definitely important to keep in mind when ordering. Since the menu is so big there is plenty of choice and always something new to try if you want to make your way through the menu.

   Me and my wife came here by pure chance after deciding to take a walk down the highstreet. Being vegetarian, it's always exciting to find restaurants which have a huge variety of seitan and soya products. Here we ordered vegan steak, vegan fish, vegan chicken and they were all unique dishes cooked with full of flavour. Service was outstanding and quality of food was brilliant.

   I liked the place and as you can imagine there are plenty of vegetarian options! There were 3 of us and we spent 30 each. We ordered 3 starters, 3 mains and rice. We also had non alcoholic drinks. I would probably give the resto 3.5 if I could as there was nothing I thought was amazing but I liked the food. I would definitely come back to try and work my way through the menu. I thought it was a nice touch there were hand sanitiser bottles on the tables. I am finding that is rare from the places I have been too.

   Delightful Vegan Chinese restaurant in Edgware, great service and delicious food as well as good selection of drinks. I would recommend the Vegan Crispy Chicken skewers to start they were divine. Good atmosphere and family run would definitely recommend and we will back.
