   A quite poor experience really. It started when I arrived and was told not to sit in my chosen seat and I was ushered into a crowded area next to a family with 4 noisy children. I did consider just leaving at that point. The service was not great. No pleasantries, just basic exchanges. The food was definitely no frills and basic. It's a shame as the building was clean and has great potential but ultimately very disappointing.

   We are from the US and went to Roast and Ground with these owners when they were in Carshalton. We came back to England for a visit and one thing definitely on our list was to go to Lavender Kitchen because we absolutely love their lasagna! It was such a joy to visit with the owners. They are such a lovely people! We will definitely be back each and every time we come to England.

   This is my favourite breakfast place. Haloumi cheese x egg x salmon. It's huge, my partner couldn't finish it. We order this two plates and two cappuccino paid 28.00. Well worth the money .

   Great fresh food - found for the first time just before xmas and have been back 5 times for Sunday breakfast. Lively & lovely coffee too - worth every penny! I always have a few coffees, as I am greedy, so I pay a touch more Cracking.... GO!!

   Have been here a couple of times, today for food. Every time I have been here, the waiting staff look stressed and service is rushed with a LONG wait. Today my friend and I were served breakfast in plates so covered in chips it was horrendous. Had it not been for the hour long wait I would have sent it back. It was disgraceful. Scrambled eggs were like sawdust. Very poor all round.

   Just had a late lunch here - very welcoming could sit where we wanted - nicely done up - very clean and fresh surroundings. Menu is big and full of variety. The food was delicious - very fresh and lots of it - the jacket potato was enormous! I like the plates - just all very nice. We will be returning.
