Food quality is on top you can instantly tell the quality freshly cooked aswell the chaps in the shop are very friendly and polite and do their job clean and tidy. As well as the fish and chips i would highly recommend the signature chicken burger WOW the size of that thing is unreal. I promise you will not be disappointed ;)
Unreal food once again. Have dropped all other local takeaways for this place now for their chicken burgers alone. Not only are they absolutely huge but they taste incredible. Also got some of the youngest boss men serving up behind the counter which you love to see!

I've been coming here for 2 years, and the food has always been exceptional. The portion sizes are incredibly generous, and they are always refreshing the menu to add new dishes, which we always enjoy trying. The customer service is second-to-none. I would highly recommend Woodmansterne Fish & Grill to anybody looking for quality fish & chips, burgers, and anything else you could possibly ask for.
Not bad but could be a lot better. Had a takeaway once from them when it was a little late. Got a MEGA portion of chips. Never had one that big before. Battered sausage was chewy and could do with more salt and thicker batter. Chicken pie was doughy around the sides and crispy on top, so had obviously spent a lot of time under the heat lamp! Would I go back? Probably, just hope it’s better!
Absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs Waited 2 hours for a delivery, called 3 times and was told ‘it’s with a driver 10 more minutes’ every-time we called. Family take away night ruined by this shop who have done nothing but lie all evening and only offer a bottle of water as compensation
We were visiting from the States and the fish and chip place we normally visited was closed on Monday. Very glad it was. This place was wonderful. Besides the fish and chips being excellent, service was wonderful and the place was clean enough that the “five second rule” might apply if it fell on the floor. Looking forward to my next visit to try their chicken sandwiches. Two diners were eating them while I was waiting for my take out.
I can say this is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. You can easily taste the frying oil is not overly used. Crispy and tasty food, environment is so clean and cozy. Thanks
