If you're looking for outstanding customer service, look no further than Faye Dancianu. From the moment we arrived until the very end, she was absolutely exceptional. The food was amazing, but Faye’s service took the entire experience to another level. Her warm personality, genuine smile, and attentive care made me feel truly valued, the kind of service that stays with you long after you leave. This is a definite five-star experience in every way. When you dine here, make sure to ask for Faye. She will give you the quality service you deserve and make your visit unforgettable. Highly recommend coming to dine here, you won’t regret it!

Amazing Service from Ryan and Peter! I had such a great experience at Bar + Block Wimbledon thanks to Ryan and Peter! They were both absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and full of positive energy. They made the whole evening feel fun and welcoming. The service was spot on, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can really tell they enjoy what they do, and it makes all the difference. Big thanks to Ryan and Peter for making our visit so memorable — we’ll definitely be back!

Block and Bar is a great spot for quality food with a modern grillhouse feel. I had the mixed grill, and the meat was excellent – tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. There’s a nice variety to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Portion sizes were on the smaller side for a mixed grill, but the quality of the food really stood out. What makes Block and Bar even better is the number of offers available. Since it’s attached to a Premier Inn, you can get 25% off food as part of the room deals, and if you sign up, you also receive 25% off meals, which makes it much better value. I also tried the breakfast in the morning, and it was tasty, fresh, and a solid way to start the day. Overall, Block and Bar delivers great-tasting food, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of deals that make it worth visiting whether you’re staying at the hotel or just popping in for a meal. A little more on portion sizes would make it perfect, but the quality and value balance it out nicely.

It was okay! We ate on 23rd September as a table of 4, drinks were excellent, but service was rather hit and miss. The burgers were overcooked, dry and tasteless and the Steak did not come with the triple cooked beef dripping chips as advertised - just McDonalds like fries that were more than underwhelming. No check back received at all - either with the Starters or Main meals. We had to repeatedly ask for additional drinks and waited 25+ Minutes to receive the bill. Being the only ones in the restaurant at the time we could repeatedly hear the chef shouting 'service', only for team members to be more interested in having a chat whilst sat down. On more than 1 occasion the barman had to get someone to collect our food. Whilst the quality of all drinks was great, the overall service and quality of the meals was really disappointing. Furthermore, menus outside the restaurant and in Premier Inn rooms are inaccurate, with wrong pricing and different menu items - I was told this was because the menu had just changed but to have an old menu in the display board prior to entering the restaurant is not acceptable.

Really tasty food. Such great steak has such reasonable prices. I loved it here! I forgot to take a picture of my steak because I ate it so quickly!

The Sunday lunch was just OK. The beef was nice and rare but they had no horseradish, the gravy was thin with very little taste! The cauli cheese was just cauliflower in a wet roux that again lacked flavour. Service was a bit chaotic despite attempts of barman in charge to try and fix it.

Breakfast isn’t their strong suit. We stayed at the Premier Inn hotel. You have to purchase your breakfast from the hotel before eating. You can get a full breakfast for 10.50 or continental for 8.50. Once we went over they told us they didn’t have any coffee. Ugh! I consider that a staple for breakfast but they had not told the hotel. The food was average and overpriced . If you just want the continental, I suggest walking to Sainsbury. We have not eaten dinner . This breakfast has not deterred me from trying dinner at some point. Just go look at their food before you pay at the hotel.

Decent steak that’s good value for money. Service is slow considering there aren’t very many people in the restaurant and our bill took forever! Red wine sauce was tasty. Chips were hard despite being cooked more than once.
