   Excellent vibrant place. Very delicious food and friendly service.They open at 11AM. Which is a huge plus. The complementary fresh chilli’s and pickles on the bar is an excellent idea. The coffee is great and the options of Israeli Gold Star beer is excellent. I love it.

   Street Food with Heart at Pita – Golders Green Located on Golders Green Road, Pita is a long-standing local gem serving up kosher Middle Eastern street food with flair and generosity. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be — the focus here is on flavour, speed, and comfort. The menu is built around falafel, shawarma, schnitzel, and sabich, all served in pillowy laffa or pitta bread, with a rainbow of fresh salads, pickles, and sauces. We tried the beef shawarma in laffa — juicy, spiced, and perfectly balanced with crunchy veg and creamy tahini. The falafel was crisp on the outside, soft inside, and deeply satisfying. Inside, the vibe is casual and bustling. It’s a small space with counter seating and a steady stream of regulars — families, students, and locals grabbing a quick bite. Service is fast and friendly, and the prices are fair for the quality and portion size. Pita is also Time Out’s winner for Best Kosher Falafel, and it shows — the food is consistently fresh, flavourful, and made with care. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeaway, it’s a reliable go-to for a quick, satisfying meal.

   I had an absolutely amazing experience at Pita in Golders Green! The food was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared – every bite was delicious. The portions were generous, and the menu had a great variety to choose from. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made the whole visit even more enjoyable. You can really feel the warm atmosphere as soon as you walk in, and it’s clear they take pride in both their food and service. Definitely one of the best spots in the area – I’ll be coming back often and highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-quality Middle Eastern food with fantastic service!

   I consider myself quite knowledgeable about Shawarma, I have ordered it all around the world for over 30 years, and this is simply the best Shawarma I have found in Chul to date. Also the salads are super fresh and there some very interesting options for appetizers and dessert. Even if the service and atmosphere are a bit messy sometimes, it doesn't matter because the food is SO GOOD!

   Had a horrible experience. The person who served was busy chatting to his mates and care at all about my order. My food came with cold and super wet bread so I had get out of my table to go and complain, I order chips and drinks as well but it never came, so I had to stand up again and go there and ask "where are the rest of my food" even after that they didn't care. Finally I had my chips but just one portion when I ordered 2. When I mentioned they waitress said "oh should I order the chips again? I said no because I couldn't be bothered to wait any longer but no drinks so I had to go there and ask again where are my drinks? No one seems to be bothered , my falafel was awful and I order it with salad it came almost with no salad so I had to go there and ask again. I'm very disappointed with this experience at pitas

   Good food, homemade dishes, small place but good vibes. Some of the meals are a bit pricey and short, others are fairly good deals and have much better ratio quantity-price.

   The food was great, fresh & tasteful! Now you are probably wondering why I took 2 stars off well... We ordered two meals in the pita and we basically got half of the pita full with cucumber and just a bit of falafel/meat on the top which was very disappointing!

   The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the Jerusalem steak meal which was tender and well-spiced with deeply cramelised onions. The namesake pita was hot, crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy in the middle, the salad was delicious. My only complaint is the drives could have been more seasoned. Excellent service despite it being extremely busy.
