   I’ve always loved coming here — the food and atmosphere have always been excellent. However, my visit with friends yesterday was a very different experience. The restaurant was busy and packed as usual, but we felt rushed from start to finish. Our waiter asked for our order before we were even given menus, and only two were placed on the table for the group. Not long after we finished eating, we were asked if we wanted anything else, and before I had even finished my wine, the bill was brought over. What made it more disappointing was seeing other guests who were there when we arrived still relaxing and enjoying themselves as we were leaving. Such a shame, as I’ve recommended this place often and have been coming here with my family for over 20 years. I hope this was just an off day, as I’d hate for the great reputation it’s built over the years to slip.

   We tried the joint for the first time. It's not authentic Indian. The food was more sweet than spicy and the portions were not that big. The atmosphere inside is nice but the food was not that great. The worst thing was one of the server was chewing on something while serving the food. Not very professional. Not a very pleasant experience.

   Just had a delicious take away from Blue Bengal. Lovely, friendly service on the phone, delivered within 30 minutes, delivery driver was great. Food hot, tasty and plentiful. Very good price too!

   What kind of curry house turns away custom at 21:30hrs on a Friday night - really disappointing and poor. Went to the Indian Oasis next door who were happy to serve us and was top class.

   What can I say. We arrived ( 5 of us ), to be shown to our seats. Ordered our food which arrived sooner than expected. Not knowing what I had ordered except for, it Was lamb, I dug in, to find it wasn't actually my dish. They immediately offered to replace it, which, after already tasted what I thought was my dish, i politely declined. They took what I ordered away and brought a replacement dish for my partner. Yes, food for 5 of us cost £140, but it was good food. Worth the money. The only thing we thought was wrong, was that there could have been a little more meat, just 2 /3 peices. We will be returning
