Been a regular customer for years, such a shame that it's gone downhill so much. Bhajis were tiny, Keema Naan was rock hard. Curry is normally lovely. Was very dry. Maybe they have a new chef?
Easily the worst curry we have ever had, by far. Food took nearly 2 hours to arrive. Had to call multiple times to ask where it was and they never apologised. The food was unbelievably bland, I mean it had no flavour whatsoever, and all looked and tasted old. The lamb was like rubber. Dry and chewy, to the point it was actually inedible and went in the bin. Order was also wrong as asked and paid extra for garlic naan, only to receive plain. My goodness, how is this place in business.
Honestly, the best experience! It’s a family-run business, and you can really tell they put their heart into everything. The customer service was outstanding—so warm and welcoming. My dad loved it so much, he went back two days in a row! The food was absolutely delicious, and I’m so happy I finally got to experience what my father has been raving about. It truly lived up to the hype! Would definitely recommend! We even got complimentary drinks after the meal! Can’t wait to come back.
This has been my favourite Indian restaurant for more than 35 years. Everything is always perfect. Whether we dine in or have a takeaway, there's always perfection each and every time. The staff are friendly, the food is always excellent (never had a wrong order when ordering a takeaway for collection). The service is always superb when eating in and the time wait for takeaways is fair, considering how busy the kitchen must be.
Highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious, great value meal served by very attentive staff. I tried the new tasting menu which exceeded all my expectations! Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I was especially impressed with the delicious sauces that accompanied each dish and how tender the meat and fish were. I will be back soon!
I now go to this restaurant regularly since finding it as the quality of the food is top notch. Very friendly and highly attentive staff. It definitely deserves the 5 star review I have given it. I was there last night again and had a lovely meal so thanks to Anthony and the proprietor, Mr Khan.
Love this place. Fab staff, great atmosphere and excellent food with large portions and lots of choice. Been going here for many years.
As it was mid-week, the restaurant was quiet, apart from our group of 9. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bar is fully stocked with a wide range of drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. The food quantity was big, and included chicken curry, vegetable curries, nans, rice and papadams. The only criticism I would have is that the food was a bit bland, and needed spicing up.
We have just odered and thoroughly enjoyed a delicious take away meal from Akash Tandoori in Wallington. So much so that i wanted to post this review. Thankyou to the chefs at Akash,we look forward to our next meal from Akash.
Recent high quality updates in this restaurant have bought the dining experience to a new level. The introduction of the new Bombay Pizza is a great addition to their menu. If you love indian food, this place is highly recommended.
