Had lunch here with my girlfriend on a Tuesday where there is a special offer on mix- it-up main courses. Food is very good value, tasty and good portion. Pub was quiet (on a weekday lunchtime). Would recommend.
Pauly and the staff at the Midday Sun were very welcoming, totally professional and friendly, with smiling faces. The guide price spent pp below included two bottles of wine! Great value and the best Sunday roast I’ve had in ages. Couldn’t fault any of it! Thanks guys
Went here for a light lunch and a drink. They have a nice outdoor seating area. The phone inside was clean. The service was good. We had the fish cakes and burger and chips we both enjoyed our food for the price and portions we were pleasantly surprised.
Rang here on 03/03/2023 to book a table as none available online. Spoke to a lovely gent called Michael who couldn't have been more friendly, professional and accommodating. He managed to book a table for 3, at the time required, in a lovely warm spot in the pub. It was lovely to meet Michael on arrival at the pub and he quickly took our food and drinks order and helped me to work my bluelight App to obtain a discount off the food bill. He truly is an asset to this company. The food arrived relatively quickly and was a joy to behold! The meals were tasty, good portions and were hot. So glad we found this gem of a place. We ordered the 15 oz gammon x 2 and mixed grill. My partner commented that it was the best he'd had. I am from Yorkshire visiting my father who lives local. I will definitely be visiting here on my return and would strongly recommend that you visit and you will not be disappointed!
We had a lovely family meal tonight! Every order was perfect, service was great! There were 24 of us so I was suprised at how well run and well organised everything was. The staff are an absolute credit, so friendly! Wewill booking more family meals again here for sure x
Came in with my son and was greeted by a lovely woman named Joanna, she sorted all our drinks and food out and made sure we were happy and comfortable the whole time. Was very smiley and chatty and made sure my son was happy and occupied. Very approachable and just and amazing staff member always attentive and gave us incredible customer service. Will definitely come back soon!
Popped in on the off chance that they had a free table on a Sunday afternoon for Sunday roast and absolutely loved it. Friendly staff and tasty food at a good price. The kids had a children's roast which was sized fine them. Desserts were lovely as well We will be going back!
