   We had our wedding on Friday 19th September and we had the most outstanding meal for over 40 people. Our venue was 20 minutes away and the food was piping hot. All our guests said how amazing it was and couldn’t believe the price. We designed our own boxes and they were happy to put the food in them. Thank you for making our sit down meal perfect for us and all our guests. Even though we live in Sutton we know where we will be coming for our fish Fridays

   Zero Star Rating! Doesn't deserve 1 star I ordered a fishcake which was clearly burnt — the blackened part had been removed, leaving a hole, then covered in batter to disguise the issue. It wasn’t even a battered fishcake to begin with. I called the restaurant directly and the manager said there was "nothing he could do" and then hung up on me. Completely unacceptable service. I understand refunds go through Deliveroo, but my point is: this fishcake should never have been sent out at all. It was knowingly tampered with and in no condition to be sold. Shocking. The most troubling aspect is the apparent decision to serve food that was knowingly unfit for consumption, presumably to avoid wastage. This raises a broader concern: if food is being deliberately altered to hide faults, what assurances are there that food is being handled safely at all? What would stop the kitchen from picking something up off the floor and serving it?

   Worst fish & chip shop I’ve ever tried! Overcooked fish, dry chips that clearly has been left out for a very long time! Found a nail mark in my gherkin and a hair in the chips! Awful and so disappointing for £30 when we’re new to the area. Ordered large chips, got a kids portion size! Do not order from here!

   Just bought cod and chips twice - cost £23! Food was almost inedible. Fish was overcooked and chips were mixed in with warmed up chips. Will definitely not be buying from them again. Such a shame - it used to be so good.

   Amazing chippy in London Low prices and high quality food with big portions Lovely service with the ladies (and gent) in there, always a big smile on their faces. Ordering ahead available and will have it ready for collection instantly and also have deliveroo if need delivery in a rush (prices are more expensive on deliveroo but this is because of the delivery app, not mr chips!) This is my standard chippy and will always go back here!

   We found this Fish and Chip shop and have been going past 4 years. We mostly order same things every time which is Large Cod, Large Chips and Chicken and Mushrooms pie however since last year everytime we go we get less portion of chips and the fish is also not large. They have changed their potatoes so they hold more oil and are more soggy and don't taste the same. I don't know how many scoops of chips constitute small and large portion as today's order as you can see from the picture doesn't constitute as large. The price has also gone up which is understandable however the portions and quality has changed which is not good. Last three to four times i've been things haven't improved which is disappointing..... bring back original potatoes and give customer correct portions.

   Hi and thank you for reading my review. The food: Mr chips has a general variety of chip shop foods, ranging chips to battered sausage to fish. The chips a lot hot, soft, fluffy with a crunch everything you dig in. The sausage doesn't taste oily or cheap quality and the fish is thick and wide, very worth the price! The staff: Very delightful and amazing, making sure that everyone follows the social distancing rules and making sure that everyone needs are catered for. The building: The building is rather small however it's a fish and chips building, doesn't need to be big or spacious. It can fit an average of 5 in the building however due to Corona virus it has been limited to two people at a time. Overall, I always go here for my chips and I've never had a complaint for their food. would defiantly go again!
