Absolutely outstanding. Table du Marché is the kind of neighbourhood restaurant that reminds you why dining out can still feel special. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cosy and refined—warm, intimate, and effortlessly French. The service is exemplary: attentive without being intrusive, genuinely knowledgeable, and delivered with a relaxed confidence that immediately puts you at ease. The food is where this place truly shines. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, rooted in classic French technique but executed with freshness and precision. Flavours are bold yet elegant, portions are generous without being heavy, and the quality of ingredients is unmistakable. Each course arrives beautifully presented, and it’s clear that real care and pride go into every plate. Whether it’s a perfectly cooked main or a dessert that lingers in your memory long after the last bite, everything feels spot-on. Add to that a well-curated wine list that complements the menu beautifully, and you have a dining experience that feels both indulgent and comforting. In short, Table du Marché is a gem—reliably excellent, deeply satisfying, and the kind of place you want to return to again and again. A true local treasure and easily one of the best French dining experiences in London. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went there last night for the 1st time with my cousin, to celebrate my birthday and we're so glad that we did. The food, from starters to dessert was amazing & the service was impeccable. They bent over backwards to please us and even made cocktails for me, that were not on the menu. I highly recommend the Escargots, Duck, Pomme Dauphinoise, Sea Bass & Tarte Tatin for dessert. The staff were lovely and I will definitely be returning. It was a perfect birthday experience, that I will treasure.

Our favourite restaurant in north London - we love the food, service and atmosphere. The food - meat, fish, vegetarian - we’ve tried it all, always fresh and distinctly French with a selection of fantastic wines to complement. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Truly a little gem. Everything was perfect, both the food and the service. The manager made us feel at home and treated us amazingly. His attention to detail is second to none. We fell in love with this place and will definitely come back!

A not so hidden gem… had come across this place a few times when walking in the area and decided to finally give it a try. Wish I had tried it sooner! I had the scallops to start and steak main. The steak was the star of the show… succulent, tender, well seasoned and buttery. The meat it self was fresh and top quality. I have had the privilege of dinning at top steak restaurants and can certainly say this was on the same kinda of level. As soon as you walk in the interiors resemble that of a Parisian bistro. The staff were lovely and attentive.. it’s great to have gems like this locally 10/10 will defiantly visit again in the not to distant future.

Eaten here twice now and the food has been great. It’s very well priced for the quality and flavour of the food. The service has always been fine for me, just down to earth/friendly. I’d like to call this place a local hidden gem but it isn’t really hidden anymore, though that really helps the nice atmosphere that has developed inside. If you’re a local it’s a must visit.

Don’t get me wrong this is the best restaurant in East Finchley. But… My sister got me a £50 gift voucher for this restaurant. I went with my girlfriend to redeem it and they initially said they aren’t honouring gift vouchers because people have been printing fakes. I pointed out this could be easily prevented by keeping a log of gift vouchers issued and ticking them off as they are redeemed. Anyway, after passing the trustability test we were allowed to redeem the voucher. The food was excellent and service good. I went to pay the £88 bill (less gift voucher) and opted not to tip on the card machine due to gift voucher redemption reluctance. The waiter then gave the snarky comment “It’s not included but never mind it’s fine”, in reference to not tipping. Firstly, waiters have no idea the personal circumstances of customers. Deliberately making the customer feel bad is terrible. Secondly, the French invented the service charge. If they want to expect tips, then just add it to the bill - no more snarky comments needed! So the comment basically ruined the otherwise pleasant experience and will now make me very reluctant to return despite living very close by and it being nice.

Good food, cozy place but onion soup and customer service need improvement. Courgette fries were crunchy and fresh, pistachio cream brûlée was flavour some and good portion size for dessert, beef bourguignon and mash potato was melting in mouth.

Came here for Lunch. They have a good prix fixe menu available for lunch. We went on a Saturday. Starters and mains were good and have a nice variety of options. The service was good. The desserts however weren’t great for me. 2 from 4 had marzipan in it which I didn’t like. But overall good value and good food
