Booked a Christmas dinner for 15 people on Sunday. It was a great atmosphere and the food was fresh, delicious and served nice hot! Service was great! Staff are extremely polite and accommodating! Would not hesitate to book again. Thank you.
We recently booked a table for a party of 10 for a Friday night and were sat in a great spot in the dining room with a lovely atmosphere. Our food had already been pre-ordered earlier in the week so we didn't have to wait at all for it to be served and everyone's arrived all the same time. Both the bar staff and waiting on staff were extremely efficient, helpful and friendly. We all agreed that the food was fabulous and were all so full up, we didn't have room for desert! A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and we will definitely be returning. Thank you.
Absolutely incredible. Went for our anniversary tea ( 19/12/24)The Fox has just reopened under the management of Craig and Jo, just wow. The pub was bustling and busy, the staff were smiling and attentive. The food was incredible. We went for Nachos and Chicken strips, mains were proper home made lasagne and steak and ale pie. Too full for pudding but went in to the bar for a drink after, again bustling and smiling faces, the pub was cosy and warm. 10 out of 10 both of you. See you over Christmas
Booked table for 1.30 main arrived @ 3.00pm such slow service.Starter at best was slightly warm and very dry. Main was cold heated only by the gravy and the roasters , you couldn't cut through them were that hard. Others in the group were complaining also especially the veggie wellington , like a rock and very little of it. I have eaten there a few times, not recently and always found it to be good.
Great pub with loads of drinks choices. Well priced, tasty food (loved the chicken club sandwich) topped off by excellent friendly staff. A credit to the village.

We went for lunch. 1st in so it was very quiet to start but filled up later. The food was tasty and service very good. The menu wasn't large but food was good.
We got there opening time so 1st in. The staff were lovely, helpful and cheerful which was nice. The menu was limited so 2 of us had fish and chips. 2 had lamb kebabs. The food was very tasty.
