Been going to River Queen for 29 years, it used to be amazing food. Just been there and it's under new ownership, ordered BBQ ribs, got ribs in a bland gravy tasting sauce, threw them away. Got a chicken chow mein, ate a quarter of it, disgusting, wife says her special fried rice is ok, just. The new owners should have carried on with Jennie's recipes and the place would be heaving as usual. It won't stay open long, that's for sure. The other local Chinese takeaways will thank them for being awful.

Love this Chinese takeaway! Food is always delicious and it somehow beats most of the chinese takeaways around! Fast service, we always ring ahead so its ready by the time we get there would highly recommend.
I tried this takeaway today for the First time. I am 56 years old and don't eat egg. I have always ordered fried rice meals without egg at every Chinese I have ever used. I telephone ordered a Singapore Fried Rice, and when I went to collect it they said they couldn't make it without egg because it would stick to the wok. I've never heard anything more rediculous. They must be using pre-prepared rice in their food. And unable to prepare anything fresh. Disgraceful!!!!!
The bad customer service may put you off your meal. We called and placed our order and were told it will be ready in 30 minutes, when we arrived we had to wait another 30 minutes for it. No sorry about the wait or anything. Got home to find they had got one of the meals wrong, even though they had actually wrote the right meal on it. Carmly I went back done and asked for our correct meal. The reply shocked me, I was shouted at front of everyone that we were wrong and not them. The meal was replaced but the damage has done. We will be going the golden fry in the future their meals are just as Nice, priced and portions. No one should speak to someone like that it was disgusting. Only one member of staff said sorry the rest were terrible.
