   Impromptu called in with a work mate on a Saturday, both tired and needing food. Restaurant was empty except for another couple, restaurant looks ok, no wow factor, but we didn't care at this point we were just hungry. Sat down and someone brought our menu very quickly and explained if we wanted a beer, that we needed to go to the shop close buy and purchase our own, again, no issue doing that, thankfully it wasn't raining. Food started to arrive after a short time (poppadom etc) and actually wasnt bad, I enjoyed it (chicken tikka), this is obviously a place that survives on supplying takeaways more than sit down meals. But, for what we needed it was fine, enjoyed my food, but needs that something more to make me go back again and again.

   Enjoyed the food here. The chilli chicken for starters was nice and flavourful. The chicken was cooked nice and tender. Mains I intended vegetable biryani. Quantity was surprisingly a lot. Got a plate full than the usual bowl full you get in other restaurants. Biryani wasn't plain, had all veggies. Enjoyed everything except for extra potatos, since it was quite filling. And lots of sides on complement, especially a sweet yogurt with herbs I guess. Loved it. Overall. Great place for food. Ambience is ok, nothing special.

   Absolute Joke. Sat night hardly anybody in yet over an hour before served. Like sitting in office. People randomly walking in and out of kitchen. One guy doing all the work and really didn't want us in. The other not speak or understand English and did nothing. Food when arrived about average at most. No alcohol served. Told to go shop and get it if we really had to have it. No interaction to ask if all ok. No cleaning up of used plates. No thanks for coming. No going back!!!!

   Terrible. Only table in the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Waited 30 minutes to be acknowledged at all and more to be asked what we wanted to drink. Flat soft drinks all round. Wish we had spent our special family meal elsewhere.

   I was there between 8pm and 9pm on a Saturday night and the place was empty, I kinda feel sorry for them. Food didn't feel very fresh. My Dahl was over microwaved and for my main dish the sauce was cooked separately from the meat and the nan was burnt. I'd suggest the restaurant should halve its vast menu to give better fresher smaller menu. They also had no alcohol licence :(
