   Partner ordered from justeat. Honestly it was the most underwhelming curry I've had in a while. Having a medium spice curry normally has some heat to it but it had no kick, even all the side dishes tasted bland. Atleast it arrived warm and Im trying to atleast give some consideration because its Boxing day but it was an underwhelming meal overall.

   Wife ordered on Uber Eats, an HOUR AND A HALF later hadn’t showed up, so I called the restaurant. Bloke on the phone says “it’s sitting here waiting to go but we haven’t got any drivers” so I asked how long it’d been “sitting there” and he said about 25 mins, he also said it would still be another 25 mins before we got our food, so I told him to cancel it and not to bother. They STILL CHARGED US THE FULL £30, absolutely disgusting. She ordered it from them by mistake anyway coz we’ve been there before and the food is absolutely minging anyway.

   Staff are friendly and the food is really tasty. Poppadoms are freshly made and light. We had chicken tikka pathia, chicken korma, channa bhaji, cauliflower starter, pilau rice and the chutney selection. All meals were great. There was a little too much oil on the pathia, so we dabbed that off with kitchen towel.

   Good Quality and nice seating area. In the Basement. Nice ambience and service. Price is a bit high but good quality. Parking day time is paid. Free parking in the evening. Lots of places to explore nearby.

   Absolutely disgusting. The 3 different dishes that we ordered came looking and tasting exactly the same, the meat was dry and tough and the rice had random flecks of food colouring in it. What made it worse was that the restaurant's response was that all 3 dishes were mild curries and therefore they are supposed to be identical. Followed by a rude hurry up and go end to the phonecall. Not normally bothered by average take away food, but this takes the piss when it cost nearly £30. Not surprised they got shut this summer for poor hygiene, should be shut again.

   Their korma (made with grated FRESH coconut- not dessicated) is highly recommended. I've never tasted such a wonderful dish. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are friendly, interested in everyone & knowledgeable. This is now the ONLY Indian takeaway we go to, having tried many others ♥️♥️
