   Food is good, only upset is that they put doner on every calzone, I don't normally order doner meat, I thought I'd try it, I was happy with it but the other two options I ordered with the calzone, the bacon looked like ham and the chicken was fine but there was barely any chicken and bacon, I think thats why they do every calzone with doner so they can give you barely any of the other toppings you actually wanted on it, after paying £12 for a 10 inch, it's fair to say I'm disappointed and won't be ordering a calzone ever again from here, I'll just stick to the pizza

   Having frequented Ness Kebab in the past I have always found their food to be ok but waiting times very long as they seem to prioritise delivery over collection so I would phone my order through first before collection. The last time was about 18 months ago where I preordered a doner wrap, which, when I got home I found the meat to be stone cold, not tepid but stone cold. On this occasion I felt the need to report this back, politely, whereupon I was abruptly told it was cold because it was next to the lettuce! In fairness they offered a replacement, but I was tired and said I would pop in the next day and wasn’t prepared to wait another 40 minutes. They insisted that they wanted to collect the food from me that night and refund my money, which duly they did. Having had a restaurant for many years I appreciate that food that’s not to standard can slip through but customer service should not as we achieved constant 5 star reviews and constant 5 star for health and hygiene and would do anything to rectify a customer’s dining experience. Wanting to give them a second chance I popped in on the 11th October to be stood in silence whilst the lady played on her phone, not sure if she knew of my presence I said “hi” which was returned by a grunt and she walked in the back to be followed out by presumably her husband / partner where he very abruptly reiterated the fact that my last order was cold because of the lettuce and that he would not serve me again. Oh my days, seriously avoid this joint.

   Fabulous food! Fish portions are large and perfectly cooked in golden batter and the chips are perfection, nice and crispy rather than the flaccid variety found all too often. Pizza is also excellent! The owners are lovely people who work very hard to serve their local community with high quality fast food that doesn't cost the Earth. Well worth a detour. enjoy !!!
