Our experience at Ikoyi was defined by truly excellent service. The team were warm, attentive, and went the extra mile by inviting us to tour the kitchen, which was a lovely and memorable touch. In terms of food, the razor dish stood out, and the dessert was genuinely impressive. However, aside from those highlights, the rest of the menu felt less distinctive and didn’t leave a strong lasting impression for us to talk about when mentioning Ikoyi this experience. Overall, while the food was somewhat uneven, the outstanding service and a few standout dishes make Ikoyi deserving of two stars.

This was a culinary masterpiece of complex flavors. The staff was great knowledgable. Set menu if i remeber corectly like 13 courses its alot of food u leave feeling staified and not thinking about the cost. It is expensive but well worth it.

One of the best Michelin experiences I’ve ever had. All the courses had so much flavour, were beautifully presented and displayed the best ingredients and refined technique. Chef was there all the time.

It was my first time in London, and in my rushed planning, I made time for one fine dining experience. London’s vast food scene felt intimidating as a first-timer, but one name kept surfacing: Ikoyi. It defies easy classification, perhaps because there’s nothing else like it. I managed to snag a week-of lunch reservation and opted for the condensed lunch tasting menu (though the full version is also offered midday). The progression of dishes grew steadily on me, and by the end, I was especially captivated with the desserts, where the interplay of heat and sweetness sang. The meal began with a rich gola pepper chicken broth. I skipped alcohol and chose a Da Hong Pao oolong, floral and earthy, which paired beautifully. I found the tempura-style turbot with bright crab salad to be a textural delight, and the aged beef rib with their signature smoked jollof rice and lobster custard met expectations. Pepper appeared in many forms and shown most for me in the dessert: jasmine sorbet warmed with chili oil, peppercorn mousse over brown butter ice cream and ginger cake, and sweet melon offset with unexpected numbing spice. Service was warm and conversational, though timing between courses was noticeably slow. When I mentioned my plans to explore cocktail bars, a manager returned with a handwritten list of some favorites. I also loved the design of the space, it was sculptural yet comforting, reflecting the same balance of discipline and warmth that defined the food. Overall I enjoyed my experience, and though I wouldn’t say I necessarily craved any dish afterward, the menu stretched my palate in ways few meals do. Ikoyi was inventive and quietly bold. Next time, I will opt for the full tasting menu.

lkoyi is always a restaurant that you should at least try once in your life. The dedication and effort of the team & the chef (Jeremy Chan) are incredible. They were warm and welcoming. The bold creativity of chef and how he deliver the African inspired flavor with a better version it shows on every course. The overall experience is fantastic. If you like spices, you should not skip lkoyi and give it a chance. There’s two dishes are my favourite (the sweetbread & turbot), others are also performing very well but it’s just my own perspective. Highly recommend for anyone, suitable for any occasion or you’re looking something distinctive in London.

On my personal podium of London Michelin-starred restaurants. Finally something exciting! Completely different from the usual, boring white-fish-with-foam stuff most fine-dining places offer. Ikoyi has character, a surprising menu, great decor and truly lovely, smart staff. The spring tasting menu, the sweetbread was incredible as well as the rice. Absolutely recommend.

An absolutely amazing meal! Had the tasting menu and every dish was pure deliciousness and left you thinking about what flavours you were tasting. The stars for me were the octopus and sweet bread - flavours and textures in each of this dish were unlike anything I’ve had before! I could not recommend this place more!!

Outstanding. Based on a recommendation, I reserved a table for 2 on a Saturday for their 7 course lunch menu. Starting with amazingly refreshing, bright, and punchy cocktails - we got the show started. Highly recommend starting with one (or two!) of their cocktails. Too many brilliant courses to describe but favorites were the octopus, scallops, plantains, and crepes. EVERY dish was beautifully presented and artfully serviced. The flavors were so unique and I just loved the attentive service from the waitstaff. I enjoyed every minute of the 2hours we spent there and left extremely satisfied and invigorated (Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee helped!). More impressive is the size and efficiency of the kitchen to produce such high quality mastery. On your way out, wave to Chef Jeremy Chan and his talented team. A highlight of my trip to the UK. Highly recommended.
