Very lovely restaurant and great experience. The food was delicious, fresh and well seasoned. The atmosphere was lovely, with the windows opening around the restaurant during summer time to offer a fresh breeze. In the background plays Turkish classics music to give an authentic experience and the staff are looking over your table to ensure quick service and clean table throughout the starters, main and desserts courses. I had the octopus main course here and it was perhaps the best octopus Iβve had in my life, I even asked for takeaway. They also provide table hangers for your handbags, which is great as a lady. Lovely place, worth a visit.

Recommended. Cold, rainy night, we were looking for a warm setting and good food. Mediterranean cuisine a plus. Pub food didn't interest us. The menu suggested a lentil soup, my bride's go-to comfort food. We decided to give it a try. The hour was early, we were seated promptly, and served up with some fresh bread and hummus. WARNING: The fresh bread is dangerous. I wanted to make a meal of it. The red lentil soup was a hit - hearty, satisfying. I had a grilled chicken fillet with basmati rice - delicious. We ordered wine with the meal, we enjoy a nice Pinot Noir. Closest they had was a Merlot and a Turkish red wine. Turkey makes wine? Decided to give it a try. I offered my bride a sip of the Kavaklidere Yakut Red. Smooth, low tanins, very satisfying. She liberated my Yakut, I drank her Merlot. Both were good. Very happy with the experience - would visit again.

Excellent food with fast, friendly and attentive service. The octopus appetizer was unique and just delicious. If you're into eggplant, the Hunkar Begendi, pictured, is fantastic.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The lamb shish was incredibly juicy and tender - probably the best Iβve ever had! And the almond/walnut homemade baklava?! - absolutely next level! Perfect balance of crispiness and sweetness! Felt like home! If you are looking for a real Turkish taste, this is the spot! Iβll definitely be coming back the next time Iβm in London.

Nice Turkish restaurant located a short walk from Piccadilly. Came for a meal at lunchtime midweek, didn't have a booking but were able to get a table. Smart modern feel to the place. Really nice choice of dishes on the menu (they also do a lunchtime menu). We ordered the monkfish and the octopus. Both meals were faultless, tasted gorgeous. Prices were reasonable considering the quality. Service was welcoming and professional. Would definitely like to visit here again.

The area is wonderful at night, busy vibrant and pretty. The restaurant itself is small but exquisitely turned out; white pressed linen, immaculate cutlery, good sized tables and comfortable seating. The atmosphere is quiet warm and intimate, perfect for business or for old friends to catch up. The staff are friendly and the service could not be better. The food and drink is of course excellent and well proportioned. The lamb tagine is highly recommended. There is clever use of large mirrors to make the place look open and bigger, although that can be a little disconcerting! The only caveat is that due to the size the toilets are small and down a narrow set of stairs, if one is less mobile. Otherwise it is a perfect venue.

Very tasty food. I enjoyed Chicken liver appetisers. Very good customer service. Iβd give 5 stars. Although Iβm allergic to sesame and I notified the server. When I picked dish I asked if thereβs any sesame. Gentlemen said it has none. Unfortunately it had sesame. It wasnβt pleasant surprise. Overall good restaurant.

Lunch at Sofra earlier this week. Staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. There is a nice atmosphere and no rush. Food was great, hot and sensibly priced for central London. I have eaten at Sofra quite a few times and this was another very enjoyable meal.

An old favourite of mine from my (pre retirement) business days but last night it was me that paid the bill. Always enjoyable. Great food and service and had interesting Turkish wines both red and white. However I wont be trying Turkish coffee again anytime soon.
