We visited Hakkasan two days ago and overall the food is pretty nice for the price. The quality really matches what you’re paying for which is not always guaranteed in London. The dishes were well executed and the flavours were balanced. As an Asian eating Asian cuisine, it’s very easy to tell when something feels authentic, and Hakkasan does a good job in that sense. Last year we tried Park Chinois~ the vibe there is undeniably great and the atmosphere is beautiful~ but the food itself felt a bit underwhelming for us. Hakkasan, on the other hand, delivered a more consistent experience overall, especially when it comes to flavour and value.

The restaurant is always busy, so a reservation is essential. The overall atmosphere is quite dark, and the noise level can be high. Service was fast and efficient, and the food was delicious — I highly recommend the prawn toast and the prawns with cashew. The restaurant is on the expensive side; our bill for five people was around £230.

Great food, lovely service - overall a little loud. Great for business dinners. Ambiance is dark, loud but welcoming. Good for intimate dinners if not for the sound. I come here for the crispy duck salad

It was a birthday celebration gift and we ordered the emerald range which was all vegetarian. The food was good given the price you pay however thw service was rushed. Given the price you pay you expect quality service and ambience however like any other local restuarant they want to fill their seats as many times as they can pretend to offer quality service but maybe not to the standard of Park Chinois.

I first came to Hakkasan back in 2016 — nine years ago — and I’ve been in love with this place ever since. Few restaurants in London have managed to maintain such a consistent level of excellence over time. Every visit feels just as special as the first. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere envelops you: dim lighting, elegant music, and that signature balance of modern luxury and intimacy that only Hakkasan can create. The service is always refined yet relaxed, perfectly matching the restaurant’s understated sophistication. The food remains absolutely outstanding. The crispy duck salad, the black truffle roasted duck, and the legendary pipa duck are on another level — perfectly cooked, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The dim sum selection and wagyu beef dishes are equally impressive, with every bite showing precision and artistry. Over the years, Hakkasan has never lost its magic. It continues to set the standard for contemporary Cantonese cuisine in London — a place where perfection feels effortless. Whether for a celebration or a quiet dinner, it remains one of my all-time favourites. Simply exceptional — from the duck to the cocktails, everything is top-tier.

We had one of the set menus which was massive amounts of food for two people but amazingly good food too. Exceptional actually. Very expensive too. Service was excellent. Definitely not the place to go if you are wanting to lose weight. Almost impossible to understand anyone eating it all. We had the dessert course to go. The restaurant was also super busy and crowded. You might like the high energy but also not the place if you wanted a quiet conversation.

One of the best culinary experiences I’ve ever had. Well deserving of their Michelin star. Service, atmosphere, and of course food were absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Shou package as recommended by the server. They did not skimp on the portions. Best duck I’ve ever had.

This is a great place to come for a celebratory dinner! They have a lovely vegan set menu (the chrysanthemum menu) - the starters are absolutely amazing. Their dim sum is so delicious. The set menu is for two people and the portion sizes are really good - it’s very filling and delicious. The staff are super friendly and give really good recommendations for what drinks will pair well with the food!

Make sure you book your table before as they are constantly booked up.
