   This place is amazing!!! Booked this for my partners 30th and I’m so glad we did. There was a group of 10 of us and everyone loved their food. Really tasty and high quality Turkish food. The service is so lovely too! The staff really take care of you. They brought out a cake and sang happy birthday. They even gave us some glasses of bubbly to celebrate! So glad we celebrated here and can’t wait to come again!

   This place kicked off my love of Turkish food when I lived in FP about 15 years ago. First visit for years recently and didn’t disappoint. Ambience is superb, staff are all incredible and the food….just try it for yourself. Unfortunately now live many miles away and have never found anything like it. Stop swithering / reading reviews and just get yourself in Petek ❤️

   Petek is a great Turkish restaurant in the Finsbury park area. I came here on a Thursday evening in early October for a friend's birthday. As a party of 10 we were seated in a large table by the window. Service was quick and friendly. As I arrived there were olives, pitta bread and a spicy tomato dip on the table. We were not charged for these. We ordered a range of mains and feedback was good for all of these fishes. I personally had the Lamb Beyti and really enjoyed it. I also had a turkish lemonade which, with its mint garnish, had a zesty freshness which would be difficult to replicate. The waiter brought out some Baklava with chocolate ice cream to share and we were also not charged for this. A lovely gesture. Across the board food, vibes, and other stuff was good here. I would recommend this restaurant for groups of a range of sizes and note that they had advertised a 2 course deal at both lunch and tea time.

   We visited twice in the last couple of months and regretted not doing so earlier, after living in the area for a few years. Nice decor, and overall much cosier than all the Turkish restaurants on Green Lanes where we used to go. On both visits we received pleasant service and delicious food and left satisfied. Thank you

   The food was absolutely excellent, bursting with flavor and quality. The restaurant’s atmosphere and ambiance were top-notch, creating a truly enjoyable dining experience. However, the pricing could use some reconsideration—paying £22–£23 for a single kebab with rice and salad doesn’t feel entirely fair. While everything else deserves a five-star rating, the pricing brings it down to four stars. That being said, the staff were exceptionally professional and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant.

   Nice and caring staff. Good food at a good price. What more could you ask for?? Pre-booked for a group of about 20 people got a set menu but they were able to cater for a vegan and one person with gluten intolerance. Would certainly go back and recommend. Check it out!

   Such a great find. Came with a couple of friends for the first time during the week before going to Park Theatre. We could not find fault at all. The food was flavourful and generous, the beer cold and the service absolutely outstanding. It is definitely going on our favourites list for when we're seeing shows. The absolute loveliest people!!

   Visited 21 February 2023 The restaurant was quiet upon arrival at 18:15, but when we left an hour later it was filling up, and rightly so. The staff were all very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. I opted for a lamb shish with yoghurt and sumac, the meat was so very tender and the side salad was top tier. Washed down with the very flavoursome Turkish lemonade with mint. Will definitely be returning as there is quite an extensive menu.

   Nice meal here Jan 2022. They have a marked up menu for gluten and other allergies. Staff were super friendly and restaurant is beautiful. The vegan plate was absolutely amazing, the veggie moussaka was average. Great place to have a meal out especially for bigger groups. Also very affordable

   I can say this is one of the best London restaurants I've ever been! The staff is beyond friendly, excellent menu and the food was very very good. The portion was huge and we were even able to take some home!
