We are regular customers of Georgios and we order our fish and chips most Friday evenings and have them delivered. We have even ate fish and chips in their shop in Claughton. We paid £27.00 tonight (Monday) and they were absolutely dreadful. Stone cold. We did phone to advise them and they just said " we will sort it" and that was it. Not very good service
Very good food , it was delivered on time and was very tasty . A proper traditional chippy , staff were very friendly and welcoming . Would 100% recommend.
I just bought a Mini fish dinner, I have never been able to eat all of my meals but I did with this one, it was gorgeous, fish cooked really nice, mushy peas tasted gorgeous and the chips (my hardest normally to finish) were absolutely lovely too with added crispy ones my fave! Definitely go back.
Great experience from this local chippy. It has a 5 food rating and definitely shows. The first things I picked up on were the friendly staff and the clean appliances over the counter. There is a seating area inside that looked welcoming. The food itself was brilliant. Chips are as expected but the chicken burger was great! Well cooked and presentable. Presentation really does make this chippy stand out from the rest in my opinion.
Best chippy in the area. Friendly staff and amazing food. Definitely need a card machine due to the state of cash machines in the village.
