   I went to Tofu East Asian Canteen at Crystal palace yesterday with my family for a birthday, we all enjoyed it so much. Every thing was fresh and came out hot with very little wait time. Our host/waiter/owner?? was funny and helpful and the portions of food really good. All in all we had a fab time and the birthday man had a great evening. Thank you!.

   We popped in here on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a really pleasant atmosphere and delicious food! The roast duck combo meal with fried rice was perfect, great portion size and tasty, we loved the Char Siu buns - texture was amazing. Jasmine tea came in a lovely pot and had a great fragrant flavour. Prices were really affordable and the menu had an excellent variety of choices. Service was friendly and food came quickly, we would definitely return and recommend ❤️

   As a local, I’ve now visited Tofu several times. The quality of food, service, and setting never fail to deliver. The family are lovely, always kind and attentive, whilst the portion sizes are very generous at a fraction of the cost of the restaurants in Central London. Really love this little place ✨

   **warning to Vegetarians & Vegans** We've been using Tofu since it opened, both dine-in and takeaway, and always had a great experience. I am a vegetarian of 30+ years, and an amount of trust is placed in people handling your food to produce it as described as vegetarian. However in a recent takeaway order (via deliveroo) , I was extremely disturbed to find a piece of chicken in my 'vegetarian' Tofu Curry. Needless to say I no longer trust this restaurant to provide vegetarian/vegan options as described.

   This food wasn’t the best the prawns were nice and big but the food tasted like it was scrapped from the bottom of the pot I was not impressed. The ambience was nice. The crackers were okay but the King Prawn main was absolutely 1/10. I will maybe order something else. But I’ve had 3 order King prawn dishes and this dish unfortunately is bottom of the list. I was so excited the presentation was so inviting.

   AWFUL! Ordered a takeout from this restaurant tonight First time ordering takeaway here and The food was absolutely disappointing cold and disgusting we couldn’t even eat it. The crispy duck was burnt and the noodles were flavourless and burnt . The whole food has gone in the bin! Please don’t waste your time and save your money And go elsewhere Updated: Mediocre flavourless food. Sorry but Not one bit of the meal was good. The noodles were flavourless we ordered Duck lettuce wraps and House special rice noodles with chicken and duck squid and king prawns , the chicken came with a skin on it . it was burnt and tasteless seems like they gave us bottom of the pot we where left angry and hungry that's not on at all, I was so looking forward in trying the food. Not impressed. Check the order receipt we ordered via Deliveroo and the order came quite quick so I don’t think it was the driver fault that the food came cold the food was just not good. Tofu management can send me a message if you wish to discuss this further.
