Called In for a takeaway a couple of weeks ago, cooked to order, big portion, very reasonable price, great meal.
The owner Ozzy is amazing been using his chippy since he started many many years ago in New Brighton on Victoria Road Amazing food always clean and fresh he has time for everyone
What can I say other than one of the best fish and chips I’ve had and service with a smile too, reasonable prices, very clean and nice inside and some chippies are a bit dingy and dated this one is very nice, and not shy with the salt and vinegar either
It should be called “The Stodgy Cod “ Disgusting, chips were like burnt warm ups. Fish was like it was cut down the middle and split in two pieces to try and get twice as many portions from one fish, and then covered in as much batter to make the fish look big. Batter was also stodgy as far too much and uncooked. Even a waste of space for the wheelie bin.
Tasty fish & peas, freshly cooked chips, what more can you ask for when heading to Leasowe to eat your tea watching the sun set. Cash only. Had the owner smiled I might have given a 5 rating, his female colleague was friendly however.

The food is fresh and great value for money the owners will go that extra mile and nothing is to much trouble
