The The Green Hut has surpassed itself again! Just had the Salt & Pepper box. Outstanding! Cooked to order, piping hot and absolutely delicious! The ultimate in comfort food.

Our first port of call in the Wirral, and such a great call! The fish and chips here is easily among the best I’ve ever had, and a refreshing change from the middling products on offer back home. Service is friendly, and because everything is cooked fresh to order while there might be a bit of wait it is >totallylaughs

Been coming to the chippy for a while as we really like the food. Came today for what we usually get and what a Dissappointmet!!! it seems as though the items have changed. The chicken nuggets look opaque not like we’ve had previously and the chips seem to be completely different and very bitty . Such a shame as this used to be a really good chippy

A wee oasis in the Northern Wirral. Stopped by here twice now on my hiking across the Northern Wirral promenade. Very friendly staff and delicious halloumi right when you need it. Reasonable pricing and delicious taste! Highly recommend!

Had a gorgeous, double cheese burger and a cuppa tea. Fair prices. Plenty of choice on the menu. Depending on the weather, this place can either be heaving or fairly quiet. In either case it's worth it.

We stumbled across this wonderful little place while out on a walk by the sea. Outside dining, so wrap up warm in the winter. Great menu with lots of vegetarian options. Huge portions too.

The Green Hut is a bit of a local institution, if only for its quirky location on Moreton foreshore, and its good quality fish and chips. It's worth planning a visit with one eye on the weather as there is no indoor seating (it being a hut - the clue is in the name). I stopped in for a coffee during a cycle along the coast and got thoroughly rained on, but it didn't dampen my spirits, and the coffee was no worse for it. Well worth a visit if your passing by, cycling or walking along that stretch of coastline.

Been a few times but only ever bought hot drinks, only because theres nothing else there and the drinks were ok. Last day of summer holidays went with husband and kids as a treat after being on the beach, we had 3 chips, 1 sausage, 1 fish chips peas, 3 pepsi max cans and 3 coffees and it came to £35!! The girl who served us wasnt interested at all and when id asked about a burger deal if we could have it without all the bits she rolled her eyes and said no, scrumpled up the paper, huffed and said what do you want. When our order was ready I asked for tomato ketchup, the girl said did you ask when you ordered?! I said no because I didnt know I had to? Then a man came over who was quite rude saying I shouldve asked for sauce when I ordered and its 50p a pot. The girl said I could bring the chips over for some and then pay the 50p a pot, i bought 4 pots so total cost was £37!! I really dont get the hype over this place and will not be going again. I think they rip people off knowing full well there isnt anything else around that area. The staffs attitude is awful and it has been the last few times ive been there. Food was ok, standard chippy food with a hefty price tag.
