The worst chip shop Ive ever been to Terrible service, overpriced for what it is. Forgot the extras and didn't realise until got home. Hadn't eaten here in years and the usual one at Milne Park was closed so we went here and was swiftly reminded why we stopped in the first place. Avoid avoid avoid
Great place for a Great Fish n Chips! Staff are super friendly ,Owner very welcoming and chatty. Always great fish and quick service . Highly recommend been going their for many many years .you be disappointed.
Ordered a beef burger in batter said it was cooked fresh absolutely burnt to a crisp
AVOID THIS SHOP While waiting on my food the small old man made me physically sick while dipping the fish in batter you could see him drop saliva from his mouth He was vaping. While behind hot plate and was seen scratching his privates and did not wash his hands its safe to say I walked away without my order as he made me feel sick so un higenic for a food shop
Horrible old greasy chips that look like scraps. Portions are getting smaller and smaller and there is no consistency with portion sizes. The old man is passive aggressive and rude. Make sure you watch him and if you see them bagging up old and disgusting chips like the photo, ask them to fry you a fresh batch! I advise everyone to steer clear of this place.
Have always used this fish & chip shop but never again I think they forgot to put the fish in the cod bites, the batter was hard they microwaved the roe & the chips were greasy. Definitely gone down hill what a waste of £18
Not going to lie, this is somewhere I have always gone for fish and chips and tonight I was disappointed. The cod bites was all batter and hard fish. Chips were OK. Cod roe microwaved so tasted diffrent and not nice. Going to try a diffrent fish and chip shop.
What as happened. Last few times fish is more batter then fish. Chips are made up of oily soggy Bits of chips. Very greasy This shop is not like it was a year ago. Will try once more and if still the same give it a miss
Avoid, 1st time visiting and will not return. Chips were oily and soggy, absolutely disgusting. Ordered a large and small portion and threw them in the bin, we just couldn’t enjoy them.
This place can be hit and miss. I made an order of sausages and chips and it was awful. Chips were hard as rocks and hard to eat, my family couldn’t eat it we had to throw away. Sausages tasted like they had been left since the day before. I’m avoiding this place from now on
