   We came during December which is a busy season, so we had to wait nearly an hour to have a seat even with reservation, however it was a good meal. We ordered the 50 and 30 days dry age steaks, along with some sides, was good and the prices were decent.

   Had a really fantastic experience and afternoon celebrating my daughters 18th. Food was excellent fresh and very tasty. Steaks cooked to perfection. Will definitely return again at some time in the future a real treat

   So I went for a business lunch with a colleague here today. I opted for pan fried scallops and pork belly as a starter both were excellent and delicious tasting. My colleague had calamari with garlic mayonnaise and they were very good. I had the filet mignon main course with fries and bone marrow Béarnaise sauce - the steaks were delicious although next time I’ll ask for slight more medium rare than rare - they recommend you have filet mignon rare so I took their advice and it was delicious although one of the pieces was a little too rare for me it was still enjoyable. My colleague got a T bone steak with fries - this was huge, he also opted for bone marrow sauce. We also opted for a portion of the millionaire triple cooked chips with truffle mayo (£6.70). These were disappointing in taste and texture although the presentation was excellent but they tasted too dry on the inside and they were not in the slightest bit crispy on the outside, don’t bother as a recommendation. They serve a huge bowl of lettuce with all steak meals - these are oversized and I felt they were somewhat wasted as we each only ate a small amount. On the whole a very enjoyable meal with decent service and very good quality food. If you find this helpful please like the post and follow me and I will follow you back.

   Fantastic service from Ellis Saturday night! really attentive and kind, everything you look for in a waiter :) food was yummy, is expensive but you get what you pay for! thanks again Ellis. Parking is good, you don’t need to put reg in. Also took a picture of cocktail I recommend, and the mocktail version of it. I had a mocktail this time as was driving but the cocktail version tastes the same :). I recommend the calamari for a starter, and always a steak or burger for main!

   I visited here on Christmas Eve 2022 with my brothers and mother. We were served by a waiter called Ted who was beyond friendly, considerate and catered to us massively. Considering how busy it was being Christmas Eve, Ted made our experience a breeze and was the most accommodating waiter we could have asked for. Would 100% revisit and if you have Ted as a server/waiter you will be the luckiest!

   Probably the best dining experience in my life. Amazing food. Me and my partner had a starter, main & dessert each. Every single course was 5/5. Amazing portion sizes too as well as fantastic presentation. Probably the best service I have received, Emma is a fantastic server. She went above and beyond. Will definitely be back very soon. I would at some point like to see Lamb back on the menu if that’s a possibility.

   1st time back in about 4 years to this particular restaurant. We had booked in advance and arriving on time was shown to a fairly pleasant booth. Our server was masked, polite and attentive. Of course we had the rump steak medium. Well done which came with fries and salad. Plus we had the mushroom starter and a very nice IPA. The restaurant was experiencing a few lighting problems so they had a technician on site but thankfully the works were minor and were not disruptive to our meal or the general atmosphere; which was actually rather nice for a Saturday afternoon. It has been a little hit and miss over the years at this particular branch. But I have to say that the experience was actually relaxed and very nice. There was a deal on for afternoon lunch but that notwithstanding we will definitely return again soon.

   Not sure what the hype is about for this restaurant!! Keeping it real. Service excellent, food we got was nice, but warmish… No cheesy mash, no lobster & unable to do a plain & simple onion & fresh tomato salad… does that mean all the food is pre-prepared and warmed up when needed, does this mean the chef & his team cannot actually cook or chop a simple salad? Even the coffee was on the cold side… This does mean, been there, done it, will not be doing again.
