First, they accept card but prefer cash. We bought cash to be safe because I wasn't sure from these reviews. Food was delicious! Super fresh (we came for lunch on Sunday, were the only people there so had to wait a while for everything to be made from scratch), punchy flavours, seemed authentic. £90 for 4 people. We got the fried fish with chillies and lime (the centrepiece), pad kra prawn (spicy), panang curry, papaya salad (the spiciest dish there, as it should be) and chicken/prawn salad. We have high spice tolerance and were definitely feeling the heat, it was great.

VISIT DATE: FRI 13/12/2024 VISIT TIME: 19:30 Situated a short walk from Stratford (and even closer to Maryland station), this is a nice enough looking establishment, which seems popular with locals. Portion sizes were reasonable and the food tasted nice, but wasn’t outstanding. Has a lot of seats as there is another area to sit downstairs, but points lost for the fact that upstairs you will get cold during winter as no inner door to prevent the cold coming in when people come in and go out, plus no sign of an accessible toilet. It also wasn’t very clean and the waiter misgendered my female friend based on her having short hair.

Came here before West Ham game. Was not very busy, I imagine is busier in the evening. Food was great, although I accidentally ordered 2 mains as I picked a rice that was a main to go with my red Thai curry. So very filling! Crackers were nice and fresh also.

This is a local restaurant in Stratford that had great service and provided good value for money. We tried the fried rice with prawns and the vegetable pad Thai. We especially enjoyed the fried rice, and found the pad Thai to be a little sweet but still tasty. The portion sizes are very good for the price. It is worthwhile to know it is a cash only restaurant.

The Mrs & I went here on a Wednesday evening and were seated immediately. The restaurant is small but the service and food is AMAZING! They are very busy on delivery (loads of collections going on).. we pretty much had all the starters, and they all lived up to their hype. For the mains we had the Thai green curry (10/10) and the coconut rice (best I've had), also the pad Thai with Beef (8/10). The taste was immense and the prices are reasonable. This place is a no nonsense restaurant, truly made for a foodie without the shenanigans of pretence. Will definitely visit again and recommend. One word, AWESOME!

The food was okay, but not authentic Thai. It was like some sort of fusion Asian food. I had a shrimp dish with vegetables, the shrimps were nicely cooked in a Chinese-like stir fry style. The prices are quite cheap. I have not only deducted two stars for the food's authenticity but also for the cleanliness. While the restaurant itself looks clean-ish, the menu is a dirty piece of paper they seem to not have bothered to change for ages. They also do not properly clean tables between customers, they only wipe the crumbs with a dry tissue which is not sufficiently hygienic. The staff were very friendly though.

Outwardly, those expecting an authentic Thai welcome will be disappointed. The restaurant name is perhaps a give away....Thai Pie are not two words one hears...ever! But for the price...this is a decent affair. Whilst the service is not particularly attentive it's functional, the waiters do fulfil any reasonable requests. The food tastes good for the price...although the pineapple rice had a peculiar curry taste...but the pad Thai was authentic. Agree with other reviews which say the food is overly sweet/salty ...although perfectly edible. Loses points for being cash only...in 2022 this is wholly deficient!

This is one of my favourite Halal Thai places in London. Great taste, lovely flavours, and good prices too. Saw the chef as he came out for one sec and authentic too. Plenty of seating options including downstairs. Lots of delivery orders, there was someone picking up every few mins (which explainsthe rating). But service was still good for us. Will be back soon for sure.
