   This is a must try spot in east London. Dalston is not where you'd expect to go for exquisite middle eastern Mediterranean food but you will not be disappointed you made the trip. Try the dip combo to start with a fantastic selection of spreads and veggies with delicious hot bread. You'll want to order extra bread. The plates are good to share and they are delicious. The sardine flatbread was exceptional. Fish was perfection. Menu is pescatarean heavy but there's some meat on the menu. I would gladly return here.

   Great spot in Hackney. Get the starter bread, and all the possible small plates you can! Tartare, octopus with rice, and seabass carpaccio. All very authentic and with perfectly balanced flavour.

   Excellent food bursting with flavour, all of the dishes were really delicious. The ox cheek was impossibly tender. The service was exceptional. And the music was great! Not too loud, and some lovely Ethiopian jazz that I very much enjoyed! Really lovely experience and I’ll look forward to returning.

   Small & cozy neighborhood restaurant with friendly service. Food is good but it’s very similar to what you can find in other middle eastern restaurants, no flavour discoveries. Some dishes feel repetitive with the inclusion of tahini almost everywhere.

   Delicious food, a modern take on the Mediterranean cuisine, dishes keep on changing seasonally, I find that the consistency between the first and main dishes brings joy to my soul! The atmosphere is great service is superb even when they are busy the wine list is ‘fresh’ from natural to organic wines. I warmly recommend , im definitely coming back!!

   Came here for dinner Recommend 5-6 dishes for two people. We ordered the butter beans and courgettes to start. Both were excellent. For the seafood dishes we had the sardines and squid. Also excellent and well balanced dishes. We ordered the shaslik which only had maybe 4 pieces of meat on it. Was very small and could have been a bit more substantial Also we ordered the mixed grill sandwich. The pitta it was served in was cold. Would be a lot of Better if the bread was served hot. Overall was a good meal. However the Shashlik and the bread being served warm are two areas of improvement The service was good!

   Had the most fantastic experience at Oren. Visited here for my partner's birthday meal and just had the most delightful experience. The venue we could see was very popular as all tables were full most of the time. The service was fast, attentive and served with a smile. The food... incredible. We particularly enjoyed the lamb koftas and noticed quite a few other customers did also. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting or new to the Hackney area.

   Simply fantastic. The dishes are all well executed, exploding with such complimentary but sometimes curiously contrasting flavours. The concept is sharing dishes. We pretty much ordered the entire menu for our table of 3. Even the seemingly basic sounding dishes really stimulated the taste buds. Their alcohol based dessert is to die for. The ambience is eclectic and vibrant, bustling full of London revellers and foodies. In essence the menu is a work of art. This place has become a regular spot of mine, you must book though.
