   Been using this Chinese forever. It's my local. You can't sit in the restaurant which is getting old now. Food is nice in general. The staff I speak to are always polite. I ordered special fried rice, Aromatic Crispy Duck and Mini duck rolls. Which came to £22 which didn't seem bad to me. Shame was the duck was not shredded and came whole. I didn't pay to shred it myself. Minor complaint though.

   Best Chinese I’ve had in 10 years! Since moving to Loughton I tried all the local Chinese and decided to stop eating it as it all tasted like total trash… this Chingford Chinese one however had lots of veg types (in Loughton it seems the only vegetable they know is onion) and also generally just tastes good and fresh and very hot too! Will be ordering from here from now on thank you

   Disappointed in the quality of this Chinese let alone the portions which would’ve been okay if the food was to at least a normal standard. Unfortunately, it’s extremely below-average and just disappointing if I’m honest. Slightly confused on some of the reviews not too sure what’s going on there. I wouldn’t bother ordering again, better off trying a different Chinese, which was the same price offer you Better quality and definitely bigger portion sizes. Until then avoid and go elsewhere

   We went to this noodle place and placed our order, but the person taking it didn’t ask whether we wanted a large or small portion. When we got home, we realized they had given us the small one. Would have been better if they paid more attention.

   My sister ordered from here a few weeks ago and said it was okay so we thought we would give it another try as our regular Chinese takeaway was closed. We were told it would take up to 45 minutes and the food arrived after an hour. We paid £34 for 6 dishes that turned out to be very small portions which was a shock as they were not small when my sister ordered. Also was not happy with the quality and flavour of the food as I have had better local Chinese.

   Food was ok, not worth the price in my opinion. Portions are small, we have got bigger portions from other chinese takeaway’s for less money. We also got an upset tummy after and was quick to run to the loo. Will not be returning.

   I have always ordered from Chingford Chinese, however am surprised that they have put their prices up and have got really tight with giving out Prawn Crackers, their over heads are not that much!
