Quality of the food should be improved. We ordered the usual classic dishes like Thai Green Curry, sizzling, pad Thai, stir fried etc I expect these classic dishes to be at their best in a restaurant classified as "Thai". The curry wasn't made properly and the sauce didn't taste nice and it was too green, the veggies were completely raw, no Thai basil, chicken/prawns were added at the end probably on the serving bowl rather than cooking it in the pot together. Thai beef salad was really bad.....90% cabbage and soaking in sauce. It should include proper ingredients like glass noodles and less sauce, less cabbage etc The soaking sauce seems to be a "Thai Moom issue" which was on almost every dish like vegetable stir fried, pad Thai etc The staff were nice and helpful. The place may need some refurbishment to improve experience like better chairs or some that music on the background etc I am giving this feedback on a good faith because I'd love my local Thai Restaurant to be top notch.

First of all 5* for service is only given for the lovely waitress called kat. She was so nice and accomodating, som tum salad was too spicy I know its suppose to have a kick but it was too spicy considering I usually eat a lot of spice also it wasn’t tangy how it should be. The chicken shrimp fried rice was just rice and protein thrown in a pan it had no colour and was bland also the chicken was fried chicken pieces. The noodles however was great I opted in for chicken plenty breast slices (forgot the name but its the spicy flat noodle that tasted authentic). They dont do lime so that was odd instead was given lemon for the somtum salad because I said it is not tangy at all. Now the shreded duck was amazing and so was the prawn tempura/ chicken satay. Restaurant was empty on a wednesday evening however many take away orders. There was 2 men as we came in not sure if they are managers or staff (one had no uniform on so looked like the manager as he was walking around and talking like one to another staff member. No hello not even a look like a smile would be nice. They do lack customer service like if customers are coming in and your first to see them you should say hello or whatever not be silent specially when your right opposite the customers the whole 2 hours. Kat was amazing though the lovely woman. The noodle and rice picture was screen shot of a video hence why blury. Also chilli oil is a sweet paste and not actual chili oil which I found bizzare

Thai Moon Restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience, though it may not be the most authentic Thai cuisine. The food is cooked with care, and the Som Tum Papaya salad is properly spicy, which I appreciated. The portion sizes are just right for one person, with no leftovers. However, there are a few drawbacks. The restaurant doesn't have a drinks license, so you'll need to bring your own alcohol. Whilst this should be an advantage, but it’s not well advertised and not being a frequent customer, we didn’t know. Also, direct sunlight on a hot evening can make the place a bit stuffy when the air conditioning isn't on. While the food is decent, and waiter tries his best. However, the atmosphere lacks a happy buzz, which somehow detracts from the overall experience. Because of this, I'm less inclined to return more frequently, especially with so many other Thai restaurants around to try.

Thursday night dinner with 20% off on bill. You can bring your own wine which is good, can save money if you want a night drink. We had fish cake, papaya salad, tomyum prawn soup, stir fry chicken in oyster sauce and fried flat noodles with beef. Food are not bad but portion can be bigger.

Fun night out, haven't done a 'BYO' in years. Staff were very friendly and food was very well presented and tasty. Would recommend for groups and parties as they can accommodate large tables easily. Very good all in all.

This restaurant doesn’t make a dime for their own reasons and recently have made the addition of Indian to their Thai menu. The owners ARE NOT THAI AT ALL AND ARE IN FACT BANGLADESHI. They think it’s a classy restaurant and have an a la carte menu but some things I’ve heard are horrendous not to mention overly priced and poor quality food far from anything classy. They could NEVER EVER compare to the taste of the Indian a few doors down at the Rajdoot.

Had dinner here recently, not sure what was worse the horrible bright industrial kitchen in full view with the door wide open or the food that arrives 11 seconds after you order it (obviously microwaved). Owners must be blind or don’t care about restaurant ambience or the interior presentation and how it makes you feel when dining there, will not be going back. Oh and not to mention giant pile of wood and rubbish all rammed in the corner of the restaurant once again in full view.

Friendly and welcoming staff. No alcohol license it seems but can take your own alcohol. Soft drinks served... I was pregnant at time of visit so didn't make a difference to me and lowers the bill considerably. Tempura prawns had breadcrumbs rather than batter. Penang curry was good for main dish, and good amount of options on the menu. Overall, nice place although decor etc could do with a little bit of TLC.

Before you order, please read the bad reviews as I wish I had read them! My experience was below - Rubbish food and rubbish service when you feedback. My husband and I ordered the two dishes from their website for c£10 each (pictures attached) and the order came completely wrong. What is worse is that the each dish is only half the portion of the small container. Totally disgusting. It looked like someone’s leftover. We called back trying to get the order right and was told by their staff that the only way to get it right is to drive back (20mins for us) and bring the wrong order so that they will make it right. The receptionist Sam called us liars and accused us of having free food over the phone which is ridiculous as we paid £20 for our meal upfront and all we wanted is the right dishes. The customer service is shocking. AVOID! Re Owners rude reply - we paid for our food upfront so why do you think we want free food? I’ve told the full story. You are the liar here. Your website made the mistake and messed up our order. There was no customer services as you asked us to drive back and bring the food that is already opened so that you can sell them on to another customer! We won’t let you do that. We’d rather pay for your rubbish than letting you ruin someone else’s dinner. Enjoy those bad reviews! :)
