Among the Chinese restaurants in Birmingham, this is definitely one of the better ones β€” easily in the top 20%. The noodles are springy and delicious, and I would recommend giving them a try. The broth is also quite good. The only downside is that the braised beef in the Lanzhou noodles isn’t as flavorful as it should be.

The restaurant's main specialty, Lanzhou beef ramen, has a very good soup. There are four types of noodles to choose from, with different widths. Personally, I prefer the smallest noodle. The store clerk will ask you if you want coriander and scallions. If you don't mind, I suggest you add some. It will make the overall taste more fragrant. In addition, customers can add spicy oil according to their own preference.

Bustling place with fast and friendly service. Super veggie options - the glass noodle veggie soup was superb. Hot and spicy, tangy and tasty. And the hand pulled noodle veggie soup was excellent too -asked for some spice to snaz it up a bit. Generous portions. Don't wear white.

Hot7 offers one of the most authentic and flavorful hot pot experiences I’ve ever had! The variety of dishes is impressive, and the portions are generous. The service is also commendable, with the staff being attentive and friendly. As the meal goes on, the rich aroma of the hot pot broth only becomes more fragrant, enhancing the entire experience. This is hands down one of the best hot pots I’ve had not just in the UK but in all of Europe. Highly recommended!

My Chinese friend brought me here for food and he selected my food for me. It is different to a UK restaurant where you have to wait to be seated, we came around midday and just walked in. Ticked what we wanted on the menu and then he took it to the counter at the back to order and pay. The noodles were incredible and the beef was soft and lovely. Really relaxed vibes and great if you're a solo diner.

Really tasty food. Beef brisket Noodle soup and crispy pork were spectacular- fairly spicy. Cash only.

Tried its henan noodles 河南汀烩青, fried pork 小ι…₯肉, and some dessert "3-umami" ice δΈ‰ι²œε†°η²‰γ€‚ They were all very good, especially the dessert ice dish (it's got mesona jelly, brown sugar, peanuts, alcohol rice paste pudding, and some other things I can't recall) which is a must-try. Superb taste overall.

The best place to get hotpot cravings fixed. They’re not as expensive as Haidilao but their services of course not as good as Haidilao. For value wise, I highly recommend this place! Average spending per person is around Β£20. Make sure to try their mala soup!
