   Ordering here for years for the big kebabs. Ordered the special tonight. Just dinner meat and a tiny but of chicken. Like a tablespoon full? Used to be 3 times the size. Wint be ordering again.

   So I was actually excited to review this place tonight cos we've ordered a few times it's usually fairly good and the last time the driver actually told me to leave a review which I found a little pushy but genuinely forgot - until tonight. Word of advice don't order anything they're offering 'buy one get one free' - I chose my usual dish chicken tikka masala and not only did it arrive and chips rice etc all freezing cold - but when I tried to eat the masala it tasted different and a bit rancid, I inspected closer and the sauce seemed to produce a lot of murky water ?? Clearly it was past its use by date, I wouldn't know that for sure if I hadn't eaten the same meal from there twice already and it was fine both times. I will happily re write this review if we risk taking a chance on them again, but as someone with a weak stomach this has left me hungry for the night and very out of pocket. Will try to add the photo to justify the review because I truly wouldn't bother to write this it if I wasn't peak disappointed right now trust me on that!

   Used to be good but unfortunately the last few months there meat has gone hard and chewy and cheap, they started charging for delivery when it used to be free and there food just isn't as good as others. We were regular customers a few times a week but now wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Collection when we did get it was discounted by 10% also not anymore. Not sure what's happened but no good now :(

   The time I ordered my meal on a Sunday evening, may have factored into why my meal was the way it was. I ordered a madras, and while the chicken was cooked well and delicious, the sauce was the issue. I know a bit about how to prepare commercial Indian food adapted for the Western pallette, and a trick they sometimes use is to use cream of tomato soup as a base for the sauces red in colour. All I could taste in this madras was spicy tomato soup with a hint of garlic and lemon. An Indian restaurant or takeaway make up their own curry base sauces as a means of liquifying onions to aid batch production, so maybe they had run out of this sauce and instead, fried up some garlic and spices and added the soup to compensate. It wasn't a bad effort for soup, but for £7.95, do you really want to pay that for souped up soup...all business operational costs aside? The rice was on the bland side, too, but again, it was basmati rice and the spicy chicken tomato soup compensated for this. Kind of complimented it well, to be fair. I wouldn't say to swerve this place. The catering business as a whole has been adversely affected by Brexit, inflation, and corporate profiteering, so they're having to improvise to keep supply costs down. But...I think they'd just run out of sauce, and I did order quite late. So, I'll give em another chance a d order at a more sensible time if I haven't upset the owner.

   Overall one of the better meals I've had from a takeaway in sthelens. 24/02/2023 5Star food hygiene rating so at least i know its clean. Lukewarm but I'm saying most likely distance or driver dropped off somewhere else first so not the Raj Fault. However, was quite nice, nice flavours. Nan bread seems fresh and authentic and tandoori chicken tikka was good too. Chips could have been crispier but collecting yourself they probably would. Overall I'll give a 3.8/5 was fairly decent any no bad like experiences in any of the food which is always nice.

   Always been our go to Indian but tonight my partner bit in to his naan bread to find blue plastic packaging inside it and also before Christmas I found a few pieces of cotton from a wooly hat in my curry and chips

   Ordered from her last night but my phone kept breaking up and we had a struggle . When the food arrived one meal was wrong so I rang them, they were brilliant and very pleasant. They cooked and delivered the right meal free of charge and very fast .. We also got to keep the other meal .... I'll definitely be ordering again, the food was lovely and I'd like to say thank you again :)
