Very authentic and insanely delicious! All the starters dips bread kebabs great flavour! Our new favourite for turkish! Also need to try there Sunday roast next time
My walking used The Hilal as its meeting place yesterday, and it was a good choice. Although early, the service was very good and prices were very reasonable. The building is a piece of history, dating back, I would say at least 450 years. The low ceilings and wooden beams give the resteraunt a certain charm, and it also has its own water feature.
We recently dined at Hilal and had it was exceptional experience from start to finish. The meal began with a delightful selection of appetizers, which included a variety of traditional Turkish mezes. Each dish was bursting with flavor and showcased the rich culinary heritage of Turkey. For the main course, I opted for the lamb meat, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The lamb was tender, juicy. It was served with a side of fluffy rice and salad, complementing the meat beautifully. To cap off the meal, we were treated to a small selection of thank you sweets. These little confections were a sweet and thoughtful end to a fantastic meal, highlighting the restaurant's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, Hilal offers an authentic and memorable dining experience. The combination of delicious food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone craving Turkish cuisine. Highly recommended!
Great place and advisable than Sally's tearoom across the way. Choose the cheesecake or chocolate fudge cake as both are delicious. We go here after swimming for a hot drink and cake. Service is always attentive and the quality of food and drink is excellent. No complaints and will return for a meal.

Just back from a fantastic meal for husbands birthday. Food was amazing one of the best meals we have had out in a long time. The restaurant is very relaxed and welcoming. Service was very friendly and swift. A nice touch in the bathroom; a little wooden box with free feminine hygiene products in was really thoughtful. Will definitely be returning
Great food, good service, perfect after hike around Otford, conveniently located minutes from station. The aroma of the chargrilled meat is just irresistible. Came back a month later, still nice and friendly.
