My husband and I went here last night for the first time, the atmosphere is lovely staff very friendly and accommodating.
As for the food outstanding and so much to choose from.
We shall definitely be coming back.
The restaurant was busy and a constant flow of people ordering take away which speaks volumes in its self how good the place is.

First time in with my husband, very nice food but terrible attitude, the older waiter with short hair was unfriendly, rude and unhelpful to us, luckily there was another younger waiter who was very kind with great attitude! I certainly thank him before we left! Ashamed I didn't ask for a name!

Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Food fresh and piping hot, served in very reasonable time. All the waitresses are friendly and always smile. We also met the “legendary” waiter who is overly focused on his work, didn’t communicate well, but that’s all. Overall a very pleasant and satisfying dining experience.

Food was very nice but will not be going back due to rude staff member who served us. We arrived and we greeted by the most miserable waiter. I nearly walked out as soon as we entered because the waiter didn’t greet us nicely and was so grumpy :(
We were not made to feel welcome, our food was given to us, no prawn crackers were offered whilst we waited for our food. Just wasn’t an enjoyable night and was my sons birthday and left feeling really disappointed. If the staff were more welcoming and we didn’t have the grumpy waiter I think we would have come to the restaurant wanting to eat there again.

The Sun Do was a favorite of my in the past I say past because our visit this week was not a good experience ! It was lunch for four one of us needed gluten free food we spoke to the restaurant two or three times to check because they sounded very unsure and vague but said they could accommodate us ,but when we sat down they apologised because they only had chicken and corn soup and rice that was suitable ! There were on two other tables occupied while we were there and on a Friday before Xmas .The food heaters arrived ,which looked as if they were about 20 years old which had two candle one of which the flame went out ,we mentioned to the unfriendly male waiter who said "it didn't matter " when the other candle also went out we did get one of the female waitresses to light them. The restaurant was very cold ,barely any heating on a very cold day,the gluten food was ok ,thank goodness but the atmosphere was miserable.,..My suggestion to the owner is probably either close it down because it is so dated and tired with miserable staff or modernise it have someone to welcome you with a smile and some conversation and put the heating on ! Nb ,I don't know? it is possible that the atmosphere is much better in the evening
