   I had Christmas dinner here with several friends. It took a while to get our food, but it was because their computer system was down so they were having to write all the orders down by hand and etc. The staff all worked really hard and did their best despite the issues with their computer system. And the food was very good. Thank you to Josh, Jane, and Katie who served us. You were great!

   We turned up with no booking on Father’s Day. We were seated promptly and our drinks order was taken. My son has an allergy and upon taking our order they asked lots of questions and made sure I read through the ingredients list before the order was put through. When then ordered to breakfasts with some alternatives and a porridge bowl with fruit. My son’s order turned up first with a green flag to show he had the allergy. Then porridge was so tasty and the breakfast came up hot, and hot plates just to their order. Our meal was lovely, the waitress were kind, and happy. They meal checked us and plates were taken swiftly when we had finished. Well worth a visit, we would right recommend.

   Had a great time with the kids here. Food 4/5 (was a little overdone from Salmon through to the Burger). Salad selection could be a little bigger. Reception 5/5 attentive and sorted car parking immediately. Service from Sophie was enthusiastic and attentive 5/5. Atmosphere 4/5, nicely decorated and decent lighting. The kids enjoyed it all and we would go back.

   There was plenty of available Parking spaces. The restaurant was not particularly busy, and service was good. The self-service salad was very good. The rolls were fresh, but the butter in the packets had melted. The main courses were served at the appropriate time and was of the normal standard provided by Harvesters. The bill came promptly when requested and was correct.

   Having visited many local restaurants across the UK, it surprises me that it was this Harvester, a chain restaurant, that felt the most welcoming and friendly of them all. The staff are just magnificent, and very friendly, and the food is top quality! I'm pleased to say that this particular restaurant ranks high on my list of favourite places, and they've got me as a repeat customer for years to come. In addition, they sell the only good BBQ sauce I've had in this country, as well as a Spiked Maple sauce which is just incredible in the kitchen. I don't know what I'll do if they ever stop selling it.
