Alway excellent! A restaurant I've been visiting since the 1990s and one that has always maintained its high standards. Highly recommended!
Really disappointed with takeaway. Ordered a vindaloo and a garlic chicken dish, both tasted like tomato sauce, completely bland no depth or flavour.
I came here for my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend and had a really nice evening! The food was good and the service was great. I would definitely recommend and bring family and friends here in the future!
Can’t rate this place highly enough. Get takeaway from here twice a week normally. Lamb is always well cooked. My favourite is Chicken Shashlik with a Vindaloo sauce.
Ordered a takeaway from this restaurant on multiple occasions and they are always really good and offer a speedy delivery time. We find the food really clean and delicious - thanks so much!!!
Ordered saag aloo (spinach and potato) and butter chicken but got some kind of frozen veg mix in masala and korma… portions are tiny and the chicken tasted plastic. lamb biryani (even though it was the smallest portion) and the naan was good though. Ordered 2 portions of samosas for £8 and they only gave 4 (bad tasting) samosas! One samosa cannot be £2 what a rip off. The picture is the “butter chicken”
AWFUL TELEPHONE SERVICE Tried to call the Megna to order a take away and was rudely told they do not open till 6 and abruptly had the phone hang up on me. I rang back later and asked for the person who I spoke to before only to have them repeat that they were not open and have the phone hung up on me for a second time. Shame as have been using the Megna for many years along with my family but we will start looking else where.
Salad was in a bag and must have been pre prepared many hours / days prior and not checked before sending it. Lettuce was 'brown'... ...we also asked for x1 papadom and got 2 and was charged for x2. Also the samosa in the mixed grill was saturated in oil and all soggy after being sat together with meat.
