For me going for an Indian isnβt just about the food but the experience. We went on a Tuesday night and the staff were sensational, they greeted us at the door with a smile and even complimented my friends new leather jacket he was wearing. The food was brilliant and for our step father he said βit took him back homeβ (he is of Indian descent although born in Mozambique). The chef special of a lamb shank was brilliant too. The ambience was great with some fanatic music really setting the scene for a great night and traditional food. The only downside was as we went at 6pm on a Tuesday there was a slight wait on food due to it being so busy. My only advice was book in advance as youβll struggle to get a seat.

The restaurant is busy and the poppadoms are good, though once you get to the main meals the food is lacking true flavour. Yes it has spice but so disappointing for flavour and best to avoid if you want a decent curry, even the onion barhji are cloggy and best swerved. The food is expensive and although the chicken is tender it is not worth what they charge as a dish of 5 pieces of chicken is not value for moneyβ¦

I am afraid our dinner for four last night was not a great experience, we usually have a take away from them once a month and the food is usually ok. Last night when we arrived it was a cold night , but it was even colder inside as there was no heating, after a few minutes I enquired what it was so cold to be told it was because the door had been opened when we came in β¦? Like other guests we still had our coats on and my wife kept hers on the whole time we were there over her legs , I asked if they could turn the heating up but was told it was on, which it wasnβt , the manager then came out and pretended there was a window open which there wasnβt , food was mediocre and very expensive. Will think twice about going again.

The food was alright, but quite over priced for the quality. The biggest issue was that we felt like we were being rushed out. The restaurant was completely empty yet the waiter was pacing around our table trying to take our plates the moment we finished, occasionally before weβd finished! The ordering process wasnβt great either. They got confused on several occasions about what we were ordering when we only ordered a few items, and had to come back an ask us what we wanted multiple times. We wonβt be coming back again.

Good food and excellent service. We were there on a busy Friday when the restaurant was packed and people were queueing up for takeaways, but that didn't seem to impact the quality of the meal. We'll definitely come back.

Breath taking inside the restaurant. Great indian theme, staff were very polite and nice u informs. Had the buffet, it was great. Mouth watering starters. Hot Plates were served on buffet. It was a bit too hot to handle, however it's nice they offer hot plates.
