Have ordered from here for a few years now, food is usually to a very good standard. Recently though they have had discrepancies with their food hygiene ratings (a zero again as of October 2022), food wasnt as nice as it used to be and when we tried to order on the weekend (before reading of food hygiene) the website was telling us we could not order online, and when I rang (4 times) it just kept ringing and then told me "sorry we cannot connect your call at the moment" Most likely will not be eating here again.
Bloody lovely! I've not had a takeaway curry in ages, it was worth the wait.
Ordered online, Sunday evening 6.45pm. at 8.30pm still no delivery. Two phone calls to restaurant, both saying "left some time ago". Argument with owner who washing hands of responsibility for refund. Shambles linked with Wrexham Eats card payments... Update for arrived 1hr 50 mins later
Run by very unprofessional people. Never got the food. Stopped picking up the phone and did not refund money.
The food was too overpriced. We ordered tandoori chicken and chicken tikka. But the chicken was badly burnt from both sides. It WAS actually black. Secondly, the serving size was too small. The 2 curry dishes were only 4 to 5 small meat pieces each served on a base layer of chunky peppers and onions. The naans were also burnt from edges. Wish I had taken photos. Left a bad taste in our mouths. Would never visit again.
Lovely food. No bar here, so it's take your own. Makes the atmosphere slightly different but it's a much cheaper night out. Go with friends, it's not a romantic, cosy place, but tasty food
