Authentic Flavors and Great Value, But Service Needs Polish I recently dined at a local Pakistani restaurant in Watford and walked away thoroughly impressed by the quality and authenticity of the food. If you're searching for genuine subcontinental cuisine, this place truly delivers. The cooking here is genuinely delicious, carrying a depth of flavor that speaks to true authenticity. A major highlight of the meal was the naan bread; it arrived at the table piping hot and incredibly fresh—clearly baked moments before. Beyond the flavor, the value is exceptional. The portions are generous, meaning you get a satisfying, hearty meal without breaking the bank. Everything on the menu felt reasonably priced given the quality and size of what we received, making it a fantastic option for a weeknight dinner or a larger family gathering. The only small drawback was the service experience. While every member of the team we interacted with was polite and friendly, the staff generally need to be a bit more attentive. We often found ourselves waiting or having to flag someone down for things like drinks refills or clearing plates. Improving this small aspect of table service would elevate the dining experience significantly. Verdict: Highly recommended for food lovers and those who appreciate great value. The delicious, authentic meals and fresh naan make it a must-try; just be prepared to signal for service when you need it!

Ordered Lamb biryani and I was very disappointed how they make biryani. If this is called a biryani I will to have to quit eating and die starving. It’s just pilau rice and curry.

A nice tasting Pakistani restaurant. Walking into the place, it's very well decorated and is a pleasure to sit in. The service was good although we went when it wasn't busy at all. The food was quite tasty as well, but I wouldn't say excellent. Overall a decent place to grab a bite!

The inviting ambiance, warm hospitality, and extraordinary Indian cuisine make it a top-notch experience. The flavorful dishes like tandoori Chicken and panner curry are simply exquisite. Don't miss their delectable kulfi for a sweet finish. Highly recommended!

The BEST restaurant we have ever eaten in and bought takeaway from. The cuisine is mostly North Indian and Pakistani. Each dish is individually spiced which makes the food special and tasty. They do this by not using generic sauces as most other Indian /Pakistani restaurants do. The quality of the meat is superb with no gristle. The veg are not over-cooked which makes the veggie dishes a great pleasure to eat. The portions are generous, prices reasonable and the service is excellent. The three brothers have worked tirelessly to improve and refine their dishes, they are worthy of a Michelin star. As a South Asian, I know what these dishes should taste like and the Lahore does not disappoint. We have eaten in countless Indian restaurants over 3 decades and everytime we vow never to return to them. The Lahore Restaurant in Watford remains the benchmark! As a special favour the Lahore catered for our wedding. Not a smidge of food was left.... Go there, treat yourself.

We love this place! Always nice staff, great flavours (particularly the grilled meats), inexpensive prices and good times for all. The Special Mixed Grill is an amazing ode to grilled meats; share one with your (large) party as a starter!
