   Ate here today. Ordered a panini which was ok but it was the most boring, uninviting plate of food I have had in a restaurant in a long time. The beige panini came with a tiny dish of very ordinary fries, not a bit of colour on the plate, no salad no effort to make the plate look nice. Not worth £13. Very disappointed. My Daughter order fish cakes which were oily , again no effort made to make food look nice,not worth £16.

   My Wife and I have a successful 5* catering business and we have much experience and knowledge in what is good and what is bad. We have chosen to eat at Massarella each week now for many years so we can truly say that the dependability of exceptional food and incredible staff sets this establishment above anything else in Meadowhall. The consistency of perfect food and staff courtesy is there every week. Whoever interviews and chooses the staff is very skilled as we know how easy it is to employ people but to find exceptional good people like these is very hard. The longevity of your staff says it all as so unusual in this industry. Timea and Ada, just lovely, so skilled and true ambassadors for Massarella, always make us feel special and it is that relationship with customer and these two amazing staff keep us coming back, they never stop working but always give us time, so professional, so nice. Young Laura has a constant lovely smile no matter what and that’s not easy trust me when dealing with some, we watch this. Darius, we often miss his shifts but he has charisma and charm and he looks after us very well. Thank you to all the cooks.    When all the places to eat in Meadowhall are rammed.. Don't forget to have a look here. Great grub served with attentive and friendly servers. Good value too, not the cheapest if that's what you are looking for, but worth a visit!

   We purchased coffee and tea only. So that is possible without a food order. The drinks were of good quality. Service on ordering and on payment at the end was top notch. Faultless. I even obtained two vouchers time limited for a future free drink. The venue was half full but deserved more patronage and I can recommend.

   Arrived in meadow Hall today and went for coffee and cakes. We sat there for 15 minutes. Staff kept coming around but nobody acknowledged us or took our order. We left. We had to return with our bags and i sat down again while my husband took the bags to the car. 10 minutes later I was still sat there. They were bit particularly busy but tables were picked with used plates. What a shambles. We left again and won't be going back.

   Me and my son had the Italian afternoon tea today. Never had one before. A lot of food for both of us. We couldn’t finish the desserts and had to take them home. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the raspberry jam. Apparently it was made by the chef. Highly recommended!
