   Lovely Indian restaurant we went this evening family of 6 the food was delicious and cooked well I could taste the spices. The staff are polite and gave us all good customer service definitely would recommend. Thankyou to Anu and the team see you soon .

   I cannot express with words how truly wonderful the entire experience of dining in at Tamarind was for us, we enjoyed the food and customer service so much that we booked a table for next week whilst we were still there. The chef ensured I felt comfortable by reassuring me that the food was kept away from allergens (I informed them of my nut allergy when ordering) whilst he brought out our foods, which I very much appreciated. I am very particular with saag bahji and had very high expectations which were not only met but exceeded, the spinach was so fresh and the little pieces of chilli blended in with the garlic was absolutely divine. The chicken and lamb tikka were so soft and tender that it practically melted in the mouth, I really cannot emphasise just how luscious every bite was! Really looking forward to coming back, and we plan on making more bookings to introduce our friends to this fantastic family run restaurant. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening, see you again soon!

   I have to say that the position and street view of this restaurant should definitely not put you off from walking and dine in this outstanding restaurant. We booked a dinner for 8 just for a change and were overwhelmed by how lovely it felt to dine in Tamarind. Firstly we arrived 9 instead of 8 and were swiftly accommodated. The atmosphere right from the start was very friendly and we were promptly served by knowledgeable and professional staff. The dishes were exceptional, bursting with rich spices and perfectly cooked. The staff's warmth and dedication ensured our comfort and satisfaction and showed true hospitality. We ordered various dishes which arrived exactly as they should, tasting all exceptional & special. They also implemented all our dietary needs as well as accommodating children ;-)) We loved the personal touch, we will come again and highly recommend Tamarind to others ;-))

   Came here on a Saturday evening with my fiancé. We were nicely greeted by the men at the bar who swiftly took us to a table. Very quick service and very tasty food! Definitely recommend the cheese naan with any curry you get. The poppadoms with all the chutney is also great. Will definitely be back to try more curries as we live around the corner!

   After reading the reviews I decided to give this restaurant a try last night for takeaway, I'm not only disappointed but furious at what I can only describe as the worst quality food I've had in a very long time. I cannot believe that this was cooked by anyone who had a clue about Indian food. Every element was poor quality and flavourless. Considering how expensive takeaway food is these days, it is unacceptable to provide such poor quality. Never again for us.

   Ordered our food via Uber Eats at 8pm. At 8.50pm it said our food was ready to collect, we were round there 5 minutes after that, and was told our food would be another 10 minutes. After those 10 minutes we were asked how we placed the order, after which we were left there waiting. After another 10 minutes with no communication as we sat waiting at a table, I eventually had to corner the guy dealing with it at the bar and he said it'd be another 5 minutes, they didn't receive the order before (but clearly somehow did after we arrived to collect it and weren't asked at any point what the order was). During this time no one had informed us of what was going on, we were waiting for half an hour in the end at the restaurant just to get our food. Could have at least offered us a drink by way of apology for waiting for so long, or offered any kind of communication whatsoever. After our food came, we were given some onion bhaji by way of apology, but after the lack of communication the experience was already ruined. The only reason I'm offering 2 stars is because the food itself, as always, was delicious, but they have seriously let themselves down by not just telling us what had happened. As good as the food is here, I just don't see us ordering takeaway here again if that's the service you get when the restaurant makes a mistake.

   Had a great meal in this well decorated curry house. As you walk in it's not as you'd normally expect, has a great atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. The food selection was excellent, especially the specials section of the menu. For a first timer I was having a hard time choosing. Our meal tasted beautiful, very well cooked and spiced. The naan was crispy just how I like it. All of this washed down with the obligatory Kingfisher beers. Great restaurant and a must visit if in Potters Bar.
