Delicious food and good service. Parking was easy too.

Recently went to celebrate my grandmothers 80th birthday! The staff were extremely accommodating for our event, allowing us to come early and decorate and stay a little longer to sing happy birthday and cut a cake that we had brought. The food itself was great and such good value for money. Very few places you can get food of this quality for such affordable prices. The lamb biriyani and grills were some of our personal favourites!

Really disappointed with the food. Payed over £40 for a meal for 2 - ordered a chicken tikka korma, butter chicken and muttor paneer side. All three dishes came with the same very sweet fluorescent yellow korma sauce, so tasted more or less identical. This would not have been a massive issue if it were just the korma dish that was like this - but every other butter chicken curry I have ever eaten has been a mild-medium spice rich tomato based sauce - not korma sauce. Same with the muttor paneer, a few garden peas and some uncooked paneer chunks in the same sauce. Only positives were fast delivery and decent portion sizes - but would not order from here again. Waste of £40 :(

Excellent food service and atmosphere. 100% recommend to visit. Best Indian food I’ve ever had!

I've been eating from the Pubali since 1999, consistently good food and service. No wonder Dilu and the team have won HERTS curry chef of the year several times.

Pubali has been our go-to eat-in Indian restaurant (and take-away for that matter) for many years now. Newly refurbished, the staff are always very welcoming and the service is great. If you’re up for trying new things they will happily recommend dishes to try, and if you just like the plainest Korma and rice…there’s no judgement there either! Highly recommend. So much so, we’re planning on going back there tonight!

What a treat! Was driving around trying to find something to eat and decided to give this a try. Wow amazing food and lovely staff/owners. Really made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect.

Second time visiting this restaurant since it's refurb, which looks very plush with nice cutlery, seating and wine glasses....but a couple of notes to owners...you need ditch the "temporary A4 sheets of paper menus now" they're grubby and not necessary plus you need wider tables or loose 2 spaces and give folks 2 Square tables....there were only us 2 but we didn't have enough room for the meal, wine bottle, water so shared a neighbouring tables space! Food excellent quality for those that like trying new dishes I have to say it's a small limited menu (but suits me!) quantity and quality lovely. Definitely recommend trying :)

We had a delicious takeaway from P&B (formerly Pubali) last night and it was so delicious! The chicken was so tender! It was our first time ordering from here and we will definitely return perhaps to dine in as the deco is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend either dining in or ordering a takeaway from this restaurant.
