   Wow! To be honest this was an impromptu visit on the last night of our stay in the lovely Tideswell, and it’s a gem! Phoned up and Sal fitted us in on a table that was booked from 7:30pm… no problem. We took our own alcohol as advised by him on the phone. I had a Calzone and my wife one of the chicken specials. I finished my calzone which was so so delicious and so rare for me to do so. Two completely clean plates. The atmosphere was lovely and to be honest the sheer openness and friendliness of the front of house was amazing. It’s a shame we found this gem on our last night.

   I was truly delighted with my experience at this restaurant. The cuisine was exceptional – the steak I enjoyed was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a remarkable sauce that elevated the dish. As a starter, I had shrimp that were wonderfully prepared, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The service was both warm and professional, and the dishes were served promptly. A particularly memorable touch was the chef personally coming out to greet us, which added a sense of hospitality and charm to the evening. The atmosphere was refined yet welcoming, the food outstanding, and overall, I left thoroughly impressed. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an excellent dining experience.

   Food excellent and BYOB is a positive. Was accomodating for a large group too. Only slight niggle is service was a little patchy and staff were a bit eyerolley when asking for water. It was very busy so I can understand a little frustration on their end.

   Truly outstanding. Fantastic delicious and flavourful food, with a very inclusive menu (gluten free) and a beautiful outdoor seating area. They also do not serve alcohol but welcome staff to bring their own, a great way to bring the cost down a bit when going out for dinner (more money for a dessert). I very much look forward to going back but would recommend booking in advance

   Absolutely fabulous meal at Sal's Italian tonight. Party of 9, we pre-ordered our choices. We arrived to a full restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere & shown to our table. The food was served after around 15 minutes, and was delicious, hot & tasty. Service was friendly, helpful & efficient Highly recommend Sal's & will be returning ourselves.

   Lovely place, the decor is delightful and the atmosphere was nice. The waiting staff were friendly and we received our food really quickly. The food was nice but not the finest quality. I had a pizza, and was expecting something a little thinner and crispier, and more hand made. But overall it was a good experience and great to have something local to tideswell.

   When we arrived, the restaurant was booked out during valentine's weekend. The manager was accommodating and thoughtful, creating room for three of us to dine before the next reservation arrived. Food was quickly served together, piping hot. It was extremely delicious and satiating. Staff and manager was very attentive throughout, reminding us to not rush and enjoy despite their busy scheduling. Even as the table arrived, they were told to patiently wait as we were finishing up/leaving. Very good service. Vegetarian option and recommendations was also provided.
