Absolutely the best dansak I've ever had. Usually get from Corwen which is nice but this was on another level. 10 out of 10.
I recently visited Ruthing for a family trip. I’ve heard wonders about this place, unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to try the Ruthin Tandoori. I still think about the Ruthin Tandoori till this day.

Hadn’t use the Ruthin Tandoori for awhile, ann has always been good. But the meal I bought last night was perfect.. £22 for two curries egg fried rice, pilau rice and coriander nan was enough to feed three people. The rice was perfect and the chicken Dansak was great. Well done guys.
I have been a regular customer of Ruthin Tandoori for many years. The food is consistently good. However, on 25th March 2023 I ordered a meal online and went to collect my order at the time stated on the website. 30 minutes later I had still not received my order. Had I not asked how much longer it would be I think I would still be waiting! Overal it took 1 hour 15 minutes for my meal to be ready. I received no apology for the delay. From what I observed during my wait I believe that several other customers faced lengthy waits for their orders. The kitchen appeared to be in a state of chaos.
Great curry last night. Had the Bindi Lamb with the Lemon Rice plus a Mushroom Bhaji. Absolutely lovely. Highly recommended.
Went in after being out for a few drinks on a Saturday night. Staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating as they were cashing up and cleaning down. Well the food was incredible. I’d read some of the reviews and was expecting good things but was very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Not a bit of grease anywhere. Beautiful tasting sauce with plenty of good quality chicken, (and prawns in the other dish). Can’t praise it enough, I’ve had some bad curries in my time. I’d definitely recommend this takeaway. It’s just a pity I live so far away as I’d be a regular visitor.
Excellent food served by lovely people. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a curry.
