Salesperson Thea was very patient as I tried on multiple pairs of shoes (to replace my previous trusty Clarks walking shoes that gave up the ghost after trampling around Greece Albania Kosovo) Also useful to know I can try them out inside the house for 28 days if I’m not sure .
I visited last week and was really impressed with the service from Tracey. The shop was very busy with families as it was school holidays. However, Tracey, was able to serve me and give me advice while dealing with the families. She was informative and positive and used her initiative to make suggestions about what I was looking for. I found a great pair of work shoes. I was really pleased because this was in such a contrast to different shops I have been in recently, where assistants don't don't use their initiative and show you similar styles or colours.
Called in here today and received unbeatable customer service. The two ladies instore were so incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent service with a smile. Many thanks. You are a credit to Clarks.
Very rude and horrible staff. Unbelievably didn’t know normal customer service. No Please No Thank you. Even when I said thank you she didn’t say anything. I arrived 10 minutes before closing time. They look at each other like they saw a vampire. They said we’re closing. I said I only need to collect an order. They rushed and gave my parcel and closed the door at 5:27. I said thank you and bye. Nothing came out of their mouths. Gosh never been in a shop like that.

Incredibly poor service and attitudes from a manager and staff. Manager was crass and abrupt. Staff members stood at till yawning. I understand staffing levels may have been poor/stretched but the general attitude were really poor. Walked out and have purchased elsewhere.
Absolutely fabulous customer service. Unfortunately we had a pair of faulty shoes which I wanted replacing with the same type as they were so comfy, but product no longer available to buy online. Contacted shop explained issue and Vicki went above and beyond to find a franchise shop who had the exact pair/size we needed. She then got them delivered to Wilmslow for me to pick up and even kept me notified as to how long it would take them to arrive in Wilmslow. A FIRST CLASS SERVICE CANNOT THANK VICKI ENOUGH FOR HER EFFORTS IN OBTAINING A REPLACEMENT. I could not thank Vicki in person on the collection day, as she was not in work. But staff knew about the product exchange and it was a sorted in minutes..absolutely seamless.Showing great teamwork and communication between staff. Many thanks.
I went in yesterday to return around 5 pairs of boots i had ordered online. I shop mainly online and returned anything that was unsuitable as that's easier for me than spending time in a shop trying things on. I have 2 small children under 5 which doesn't make it easy to shop hence why online shopping is alot easier for me. I went to do my returns, and clarks were very busy with the back to school rush. Thr manager frowned with the fact she had to process so many refunds and said it would be easier if i came in yo to shop. Er no it wouldn't as the shop was packed and how much much extra strain is it for them to get many pairs out in thr store when i check them at home. The refund took 1 minute.
We chose to visit Clark’s to be measured for & but my sons first pair of shoes. There was a good range of children’s shoes, although the style we wanted had to be ordered & collected at a later date. However, I was disappointed with the service from the staff at the store. I expected for them to be more prepared and helpful with fitting shoes for a toddler. My little one became very upset, and the staff were not very helpful in finding solutions. Clark’s is well known as a place to buy shoes for children, and I would therefore expect the staff to be more skilled in dealing with young children, to make the experience more enjoyable for the child & parent. I am likely to find an alternative shop to buy future shoes for my child.
