Our visit to The Tiffin Tin in Wanstead was a wonderful experience — everything from the food to the service felt carefully thought out and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant itself has a cozy, modern atmosphere, perfect for both casual dining and takeaway. The food was outstanding. The curries were rich and full of flavour, with just the right balance of spice and depth. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and aromatic, the lamb dishes were tender and beautifully seasoned, and the vegetarian options were equally impressive. Fresh naan bread and fragrant rice completed the meal perfectly. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. Staff were cheerful, quick to recommend dishes, and made sure everything arrived promptly. Even though the restaurant was busy, everything ran smoothly, which added to the overall enjoyment. What stood out most was the sense of authenticity and care. The Tiffin Tin doesn’t just serve Indian food — it delivers a dining experience that feels crafted with passion. Overall, The Tiffin Tin in Wanstead is a must‑visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. Delicious food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a standout spot in East London.

Small mains portion. Very chewy, tough chicken dish- but the sauce tasted good. Naan generous size- but very doughy/stodgy. Lamb dish was nice. Overall, very average food and overpriced. Good service- polite and friendly, and only 10-15 minute wait. Atmosphere marked as 3 stars, just to average review. But note it is take out only. No dine in option, so atmosphere is NA.

Just across the road from Snaresbrook station, it was my first time walking in on my way home. Immediately, the aroma hits you and then you can see exactly where it's coming from as the chefs are cooking everything in the open kitchen behind the counter. The service is friendly and accommodating and everything looks clean and well organised. I only ordered the Mogo (cassava fries) as it was 10:15 in the evening and I didn't want anything too heavy. Plus you don't see cassava served in many places. I took a menu to peruse as I'm sure I'll be back.

They used to be so reliable, indeed food would often arrive earlier than estimated. But the past few times it’s been 40-60 mins later than promised on the app - so up to 2 hours in total. And of course the food is cold. Still very tasty, but that’s not enough to keep our custom. I feel sad for them, because they’ll start to lose all their loyal customers.

Could never understand the low rating this place gets. Lovely fair Indian food that’s way better than your average takeaway, always quite quick to deliver or be ready for pick-up. Would never have a problem recommending this place.

We have eaten here for years, but lately the food is so spicy it is not enjoyable, even a bhuna is insanely hot. It has always been quite expensive but since they added 10% to the price it is really poor value for money. Years ago we ate here every week, but won't bother again. Don't feel like they have ever cared about customer service either

Food was warm and tasty but took one hour to deliver. It was expensive each main dish alone was £12 , it’s the first and last time i order from here not worth the £33 pounds just to wait one hour and be hungry afterwards. I wouldn’t recommend this place

I have just received my first order for the dinner and it cost me almost £50 for a menu of 2 persons, I was so disappointed the food cold, the Biryani looks like leftover, the lamb ghost can't taste of anything rather than very spicy and the worse of all the sauces!!!!!!!! are all sweet, the mint and yoghurt and another one I think they have used sugar instead of salt and I mean it very sweet. Shame as I love Indian food and I have never been disappointed as this evening
