   Had yuk sung and lettuce was rotten and couldn’t eat it. Meat and vegetables was way too salty. chow mein Was mostly noodles and too dry. Used this Chinese for years and it was delicious. I moved house came back for a visit and got a Chinese and it’s disgusting. Obviously no longer owned by the same people.

   This place was recommended to me but was not impressed. Had sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style, beef in black bean sauce. Chicken and beef tough and chewy. Place looked run down, could do with refurbishment. Only accepted cash payment.

   no seasoning in the soup at all had to add salt and pepper, little bits of spare ribs instead of actual ribs, bland sauce, duck was dry

   Honestly, the best chow mein I have had for as long as I can remember. I had spring rolls, the char siu chow mein and satay sauce one night, the same except it was Singapore chow mein the next night and both were absolute prize winners. Each had the right balance of ingredients, plenty of meat and veg (no skimping there), with top quality ingredients also. The menu is amazing, meal deals, salt & pepper boxes, chips with chow mein & sauce meal deals etc. A well thought through menu + high quality ingredients + great portions........if Carlsberg made Chinese takeaways, this would be it! A-mazing, thank you Fortune Gardens. I'm going to miss this place as I was only visiting family.

   Just spend £33.00 as a treat for mothers day food totally sub standard all had to go in the bin. We ended up having tins of soup out of the cuboard. Chips Just frozen no Chinese speciality about them Sweet and sour sauce thin and tasted of pure vinager Chicken with peppers and black bean sauce hardly any sauce and the peppers and carrots were definitely not fresh they had clearly been pre prepared and frozen they were soggy and tasteless. Chefs special rice was dry with pieces of beef that were like rubber and only had 2 small prawns. Don't know if they have different Chefs as the food has been much better in the past seems like there was no care or interest in the food and that it was just thrown together . Very dissapointing won't be ordering from here again tstrlesd They with soggyclesrlclearly been pre cooked and frozen the were soggy instead of firm and crunchy. The chef special rice was dry with two praise
