Ive never had such appalling food from a takeaway. Visiting the area. Fried rice no egg days old. Chicken pineapple dish with 3 small pieces of pineapple and that nasty sweet sauce comercially bought. You should care more about what you serve. Theres scope to do well in this area. Mind you i expect you do well as a cash only business
Why will this establishment not take card payments? With ATM’s having increasingly compromised security- why are we forced to pay in cash? This isn’t a lemonade stand! No idea why customers tolerate this lack of choice. We take our business on principle into Lichfield - where they are happy to take our money. I can only imagine those that don’t drive feel compelled to comply.
Used them for 8 years always satisfied. Tonight asked about a gluten free dish told yes plus another dish . Went to collect and told no such gluten free dish and no record of order. Rude, unhelpful and said we'd rung wrong number. Will never use again !!!
We have used this chinese since it’s been open and it’s always been our favourite. The last year is so it seen they have changed and a young girl takes orders and is front of house. She is VERY VERY rude and we have had numerous problems with her. She is a moody teenager that just can not be bothered to deal with anyone but little or care does she know that she’s loosing so much business. She alternates her price o. prawn crackers dependant on who you are. I’d still recommend the food but the service is VERY poo
I am sorry to say this but this is the worst Chinese take away I have ever eaten. We eat chinese every first week once of the month. We just moved to Whittington last week. Decided to get Chinese from this place. We ordered dry pork ribs spicy, chicken wings spicy and vegetable mix . The lady asked me which sauce we want. We didnt want it sweet or with bbq sauce so we said we wanted it dry. In other Chinese we always order this and it comes fried with cabbages, onions , chillies, capsicum and green onions. Looked very busy inside. When we received our food, we checked it in our car and it was just meat like just a big pieces of ribs and pieces of wings. Guess what was in mix vegetables- onions, mushrooms , capsicum few bits of carrots and looked bland and tastes bland. We went in and talked to the lady , she was a bit rude but we could understand that because it was very busy. We told her what we wanted and she took it back. They added some onions and chillies in it . I am sorry to say this but it was still bad. We couldn’t enjoy eating it.

Menu good and comprehensive and friendly staff. Good prices and good quality food. We usually opt for the chicken dishes as the beef has a wierd squidgy texture and the duck dishes are usually fatty and lots of skin. We buy from here regularly as its our local!
