Ordered off deliveroo, food was lovely, generous portions, hot. Also gave us free spring rolls and big bag of prawn crackers. Great service. Will order again
Ordered around 10pm, it is currently 12:30am and the food is still not here. Had to cancel the order because no one is picking up the phone and I really want to go to sleep.
One of the better Chinese take aways in Birmingham. Friendly and Accomodating if you need any amendments to your order. This has become my regular Chinese take away of choice in Birningham. Food is great and the prices are decent. Not a bad item.on the menu. Staff are pleasant and very nice too, very friendly and helpful.
Update: In response to owners reply. Sorry that you had phone problems but as a customer with an issue, I had no way of knowing this nor of contacting you. I know what Chicken and cashew is and this was chicken with bamboo shoots, there were no cashews. I did not mention large springs rolls so unsure as to why you did, I mentioned that the free springs rolls were not sent and they weren’t despite me spending over £40! Two items in order are wrong, despite trying to phone for 20 minutes now there is no reply and the rest of the food is going cold. A better contact system is required as this is the first and most likely the last time I will order a delivery. The prawn balls were chicken and the chicken and cashew nuts was chicken and vegetables. Also, the stated, free, pancake rolls are not here either! Such a shame as I switched from Goldthorns to here after previously collecting food! Please advise how I can be refunded or the correct items sent?
Incredibly disappointed with tangs food.. there food is very poor and bland no spice to there food.. We ordered our food for collection told 15mins when we arrived we waited a further 15mins when we got home the food was cold. We contacted them and there reply was " what can we do " very poor customer service we will not be ordering again with you.
Ordered for collection was told 15mins ,i arrived at shop after 25 mins since order was placed only to sit there for 55mins eventually got my order got home which 5 mins down the road the food was very very salty spare ribs well i think they spared the meat to be honest they say good food is worth waiting for well this food waa terrible and had to wait best part of 1 1/2 hrs since time of order this chinese has dramatically gone down think ill stick with house of li in boldmere use Tangs if you want to wait for ages and end up with a poor quality salty chinese
I have noticed that their prices have gone up several times this year whilst the portions have gone smaller. I had food poisoning recently and when I complained they wouldn't accept that it was their food. This had happened twice so far. I wouldn't buy anything from them again.
Goodbye old friend! Eaten at Tangs for good few years and am now sorry to see their standards drop. Ingredient quality has dropped now to the point of me looking elsewhere. Their ribs have now gone awful when once they were lovely and that pretty much sums all their food now. Price gone up and standards dropped.
We have been enjoying takeaway from Tangs Garden for over 15 years. Tonight our chicken was pink and undercooked. We phoned to complain, expecting a no questions asked refund. Instead we spent over 20 mins on the phone with them, with Tangs disputing that their chicken was raw and that ‘no one else had complained’ I’m really disgusted at the way this was handled and will not be ordering from here again.
First time here. Was very impressed upon going into the store at the screen for safety and distancing. I ordered food and it took about 20 min. I was very impressed at the presentation and quality of the food compared to alot of other local places. The price is a little more but is well worth it and portion is alot bigger. They have a great selection and a few things I have not seen before so tried them. Wonton are great and big. Curry's are nice and tasty too
