Always a pleasure and a must visit for fans of hand pulled noodles. An extensive menu and many flavours to be explored. Last time I visited I was in need of carbs and the shredded pancake delivered. The home made ice tea is also delicious.
I absolutely love this place! The noodles are incredibly flavorful, the service is quick, and the staff are always friendly and smiling. I sometimes come about 30 minutes before closing, and even then, they never rush me — they let me enjoy my meal peacefully. It’s not a fancy-looking restaurant, but it has a warm and cozy vibe that makes you feel at home. I’ll truly miss this place once I finish my studies here. Highly recommend trying the stir-fried beef brisket noodles — I sometimes add soup on the side, and it’s just perfect!
Busy small family restaurant with exceptionaly good noodles. I ate Deznou stir fried chicken with original flavour ant it was excellent apart from the fact that crushed chicken bones were in my food.
The highlight was definitely the fresh-made noodles they were delicious, with a perfect texture and rich flavor. The quality of the food stood out, and you could tell it was freshly prepared. Beyond the great food, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and l'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful noodles and great service.
Visited here before the theatre for some hand stretched noodles and to try some Dezhou chicken. The restaurant is very small but service is fast. Noodles are super tasty and the Dezhou chicken melted like butter and was so full of flavour. This is a must visit spot if you are in the area and love noodles
Very tasty noodles. I had the ones with braised chicken. The meat was very tender and falling off the bone. The noodles are made fresh for each order. I was impressed with the service too. I had a quick look inside the restaurant and it looked full so I started to walk away. The lady ran after me and said there are spaces inside and she will clean a table for me. Definitely recommend as they have a good choice of dry or soup style noodle dishes. Cash only payments (on 21.1.23).
Fantastic little restaurant. The owner/ waiter was extremely friendly and kind to us. The noodles were handmade in front of you. The noodles had an excellent texture and taste. I would thoroughly recommend. This restaurant is cash only, however there is a cash point just down the road. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Chinatown Birmingham!
I saw this place recommended by a few people on insta, so been waiting to try it for a little while. My word, it didn’t disappoint! Absolutely fantastic, genuinely authentic food! You will struggle to find better in Birmingham’s Chinatown. Had the spicy beef noodle soup and partner had king prawn noodles flavoured with cumin. The portions, for less than a tenner each, were more than generous & service is great, nice and friendly. It’s cash only and unlicensed but although I like a bottle of Tsing Tao with my food, this wasn’t a problem as the food more than made up for it, besides, there’s ample bars very close by! Will absolutely, definitely be returning!
Excellent place to eat, worth noting the restaurant is cash only. They serve great tasting handmade noodles (nothing can beat freshly pulled noodles!!). You can even watch them making it through a window into the kitchen. I’ve come here two times previously and tried two different dishes. The beef noodle soup was good, but my favourite by far was the Dezhou chicken noodles. The chicken was very tender and came with a nice flavourful broth, which is perfect during cold winters. Braised chicken is a famous dish in Dezhou city in China, so it is nice to see this specialty being brought to the area. Definitely will be returning again and very keen to try some of their other dishes next time!
Food was brilliant!! I ordered the mix vegetable stirfry with tofu (vegan option). It is an affordable price for the amount of food they serve. The service is really good, the waitress was really kind. The food was served really fast, we didn’t wait too long. The best for last, the noodles were delicious because they were homemade!! Best place for chinese food, I recommend it 100%!!
